  • shutr.bz/34iz2f8 - The Contax T2 is a complicated camera. The price is way too high, yet photographers clearly can't get enough of it. So, taking this camera out into the harsh elements, we'll see if its worth the hype as we compare these images to photos from a few cheap Kodak Disposable cameras.

The price is high, but good things always cost. For those who can afford it, no doubt it is an amazing camera, no space to comparison with another cheap Kodak cameras.Anyway, great video!

Great video. Goes to prove that although some point and shoots have terrific lenses, it may be hard to differentiate their differences when compared to any other 5x6 print.

isn't that light a reflection of the borders lens? Happens the same to me with the muji if I shoot wide. those pics remind me of the stuff tycho post on is blog

As a kid I loved using disposables..they were what got me into photography before I discovered Polaroids... I recently bought a T3 and a Kyocera Lynx 70 and they have invigorated my love for film photography... I recommend getting a cheap point and shoot and experimenting with different film over the disposables ..

That light leak is due to fault of the lens in Contax T2. It's pretty common problem with this camera.

I had the same light leak on my T2 about 10 years ago. Tried to get it repaired, but no one could figure it out, so I sold the camera - with full disclosure. Over-rated camera.

I got one just because it’s a beautiful camera. I don’t think it should cost $1000. It’s a rip off tbh

Honestly if you have a modern smartphone, that's all the camera you need at a budget. When you want to take thinks more seriously you need to jump up to a modern mirrorless and buy some capable lenses. Point and shoot budget cameras should be totally dead now. If you do want a capable point and shoot you have to spend some money on a Leica.
