Seeing the concern and apparent capability of the elephant, why didn't it grab the horn of the antelope and lift it out of the pool ? It seems like the psyche of the elephant has a blind spot.

The elephant looked fairly young though , which probably meant it might've been unsure of what to do , BUT it might've also been an instinctive thing to protect itself and NOT grab the antelope due to the sharp horns and flailing around !! The keeper was VERY brave though and gutsy to get in there with a VERY panicky animal !! 😳😳

Sorry I have to disagree about the elephant being the absolute " hero " in this !! Yes he alerted the keeper to the situation, BUT it was the VERY VERY brave actions of the keeper whom had to be in the water with an EXTREMELY panicking , stressed and dangerous antelope that has VERY long sharp horns and flailing around crazy madly with it's legs and feet !! Great outcome and well done to ALL !! 👍👏👍

You're both correct. Without the elephant trumping the need for help the man might not have known the antelope was in so much danger and needing rescue. Together they rescued the antelope.
