Oh man, since the late 90s wrestling media has been twisting Hogan to be as bad as can be. They froth at the mouth anytime that Hogan does anything. They love that he dropped those racist slurs, that is infinite ammunition, of which they will never grow tired of using. Wrestling media is not about wrestling at all, it's about making the people who feel bad about themselves feel better talking bad about acceptable targets. They all talk like they caught Hogan j humping their mother's and taunted them going WACHUGONNADOOO while flexing, and they have serious beef with the man because of it. They come here to be hateful, when it's not Hogan, it's a million other reasons. Hogan is basically the bad guy because he didn't step aside so the likes of Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit could 'obviously' save wcw.
The actual truth is that all the people who were at the event in Los Angeles booing him and all the people online who also have a problem with him, are apparently a bunch of saints who have no criminal records, and have never said or done anything bad in their lives 👀 pretty mind blowing to know there are so many perfect people around
That's exactly how I feel. I looked up to Hulk Hogan ever since I started watching wrestling in the early nineties, and he was actually in my top five favorite wrestlers of all time. But when his racist remarks surfaced, I never looked at him the same again. I don't know why that line got me as much as it did.
I’m so glad I’m not the only one. XD
Well we all said something other than sod off in reality
Taker didn’t get booed… this ain’t about politics
I think they were booing Jimmy Hart has to be my favorite excuse. 😅
You either die a hero or live long enough to become the villain
But Terry Bollea has been a villain all his life. I've taken pictures with the guy and I sensed this very negative energy that I never felt before. He played a villain that everyone cheered before the whole NWO thing. In the scripted storyline, he took cheap shots, cut corners and cried out loud like a baby with the double Hefner referee. But yes, at the end of the day, Americans can identify with that we get that 😂
Kinda a weird sell either way.
You can also be a hero be made into a villian & be made a hero again.
For *some* people Trump would fall into that category, The Undertaker, Joe Rogan, possibly Dog. I'm still confused on Ric Flair. Flair is seriously, seriously way more flawed than Hogan.
Who's a villian & who's a hero is all based on perception & perspective.
you forgot that Peter Thiel paid for his lawsuit to get revenge on gawker. Peter Thiel is also a big Trump /Elon backer which is why Hogan switched from making fun of Trump to supporting him. and you forgot he made more racist comments at a beer event last year and later blamed it on the beer
What were the comments?
@@ymca4547 he joked about kamala's race at a beer event last yearr. also when his kid killed a person drunk driving. he called he worried he " might get reincarnated as a colored person because of karma"
@@ymca4547he called kamala indian(which she is)
Also, taking a photo at one of his beer events with a guy who had a Nazi tattoo.
Yeah
But Gawker had it coming
I doubt it was political. I’m from LA, you’d be surprised at how many people like trump. Also, undertaker is a trump supporter and didn’t get booed
Yes, not sure why people think 100% of the people in a place are all on the same political side.
Exactly. It’s because Hulk is a racist and fans haven’t forgotten what he had done
@@WillyKillya people definitely see the hate for Trump in the media and on the internet, and think he is very hated when you’re only in an echo chamber. The guy literally won the election. Of course Donald has lots of supporters. I know more Trump supporters than I do Kamala supporters.

Glad to see Bollea treated the way he deserves for all of his misdeeds. 🤣🤣🤣
I say Terry Bollea was getting booed, not Hulk Hogan.
He is a pampered and spoiled wrestler and nobody wants to see that in wrestling.
A guy with no talent making it too the top because he was pampered to the top.
He was the most charismatic wrestler of all time. Wrestling fans ought to recognize how he made wrestling mainstream. He got fired numerous times along the way and suffered many injuries- that’s not pampered
Did the politics help? Probably no, but there are many reasons to boo hulk hogan, far more than just politics.
I absolutely love how every news aggregation group is covering this moment in depth.
Hulk Hogan: Cheer for me!
Audience: That doesn't work for me, brother.
Anybody remember that one time where he said his head touched the chair, but it didn’t and undertaker and then he waited six years to win the title again
“You spiked me brother”
He got boo'ed because unlike the rest of the world the crowd did not forget his evil actions in the past. Such as trying to kill "Jingle All The Way" Star Paul Wight. The man should be locked up!
@@symbioticsorrows3001 that wasn't Hulk Hogan. He didn't have the mustache
It's his constant lies & back stabbing ways people are just tired of his old ass now.
I think another element is not even half a year ago hogan was one of the worst looking people coming out of the Vince documentary on Netflix, like just insufferable
So moral of the story, next time Hogan comes out to promo the correct answer as a fan appears to be “no reaction”, rather than “boo” or even “hiss”.
I think that this is proof that the company needs to quit relying on the Hogan name to bring in fans. People are just finished with the red and yellow. If you really think about it look at the reactions Jericho is getting. Old wrestler's like Hogan, flair, Nash, pac, Hart, and even Sting just need to step away from the business and just let the nostalgia train come to an end.
If people are finished with the red and yellow, then it's time for black and white! 4LIFE! 🤘
Too bad the rest of the country is nothing like people who live in Los Angeles. Hogan doesnt need the WWE when he has the President of the United States on his side. You WILL respect Emperor Trump! You WILL kneel to Emperor Trump! You WILL be pushed to the back of the line for being against the Emperor. Hail God Emperor Donald Trump!!!
At least Jericho is willing to actually make younger, up-and-coming wrestlers look good. Hogan is just selfish.
Hogan endorsing Trump is the icing on the shit cake. Hulk is an awful person. That's why he was booed.
He is a open racist speak what it is
I think the booing was a mix of things. 1) some people booed bc they don’t like trump. 2)others booed bc of his racist remarks. 3) others booed because he just showed up to plug his beer. And 4) the last few people either cheered but was drowned out or booed to fit in.
5) all the people in the wrestling business that he screwed over, including a lot of fan favorites
6) being largely responsible for the death of a major wrestling promotion and the near-death of another
Two more good points thank you
I think you guys might be able to squeeze out another 10 tweets and 3 videos on Hogan's raw appearance.
I’m a simple guy. I see Tom Campbell. I like the video 👍🏼
L.A. is a city in the State of California. It is not a state. Hogan is a legend and helped turn pro-wrestling into what it is today; he's also an insufferable prick who fucked over a lot of other wrestlers. He's a real life heel you might say.
he held back much better talent and made up stories to enharnce his importance , you where told that he was a legend but in reality he was lying scum bag who who could not stand seeing anyone else shine

Fine with that comment but maybe behind the scenes & in real life he's actually trying to change. Not that any of these hypocrites would ever accept it.
Hogan also was loyal to Vince, the business & superstars but he was forced to tell the truth about then in court. Hogan also recognizes that wrestling is a work.
Guys, did literally everyone forget that not too long after Hogan publicly apologized, he was brought back to WWE, and heavily cheered again, multiple times?! If RAW is in Texas next week, let’s see how that reaction is.
....He was booed at WM37 in Florida, which is only a red state, but his home one.

But also one of Hogans greatest victories, leg dropping Gawker and ridding the world of it
The Hogan skit on Pat’s show was amazing and I’m not even a fan of Pat but people should definitely watch it.
I wonder if WWE told all of the wrestling reporters, at the WWE Raw Netflix Debut Post--Press Conference, not to ask even one (1) question about Hogan's humiliation on WWE's debut on Netflix. Hogan was booed out of the Los Angeles and California on the very first (1) episode of WWE Raw of The Netflix Era.
as a black man that voted for trump it has NOTHING to do with political stances .. hogan’s racist track record was laid out elegantly and in full detail by my friend tom in this video that is why we don’t fw bro
Exactly this💯💯
You can't compare Undertaker's support to Hogan's, it was far less obnoxious and got far less exposure/coverage than Hogan's. It's like comparing Zuckerberg's support to Musk's, they're simply on different stratospheres, Hogan felt like intentional betrayal whereas Taker felt like simple disagreement.
I think it's less political and more of the fact that Hulk Hogan is just a piece of crap and we all figured it out a long time ago
Hulk Hogan is wrestling's Billy Mitchell.
2:54 on that fateful LA night
Me: *YEAH!*
The general media are desperate for you to believe it's political, but the reality is his years of lies and being a garbage human being have caught up to him.
It's because he is a whole meme at this point and not a good one.
Or maybe that Hogan is racist and not a good guy and not everybody is cool with that. Apparently WWE is late to the party or just doesn’t care since he got booed at WM in his home state.
Hogan sucks, even before he became an American traitor
Haha how's he a traitor?
An American traitor? You must have seen the video wrong. He was at a TRUMP rally and was upset that the COMMUNIST Democrats tried to murder Trump.
That’s pretty standard patriotism right there, looking out for his country.
Meanwhile, the democrats are setting California on fire again as we speak.

Mark Calloway may be MAGA but The Undertaker/American Badass is not. Hulk Hogan didn't get that part and he is associated with Vince, he also did some shady shit in the 80s and 90s and ruined WCW and TNA. His reputation is dogshit
Copiumania running wild with Hogan.
Clearly everyone in the crowd were TNA fans from 2011
I think you forgot to mention his recent Benoit comment, right? That didn't earn him any favours either
Lol, Hulk was being facetious with that comment. He knows you're an unforgiving bunch, but an unforgiving bunch who pine for a murderer to be given his flowers. He was ecstatic with that reception last night, because you guys unable to resist the bait to talk bad about him so much means his name is constantly in circulation and that means money and sponsors. You guys should just stop talking about Hogan, but you won't because you absolutely love talking about him that any genuine Hulkamaniacs out there would blush at the obsession of your fandom. Funny, because nobody booed Jimmy Hart when he appeared on Saturday Night's Main Event last month. Weird how they didn't boo the Undertaker. It's almost as if there's a specific pattern of behavior by an individual that caused the boos.
He was roundly booed back in Wrestlemania 30 and that was 2014
I think that's just because he screwed up the name of the venue, no? Don't think I've watched that in a decade, but that's my recollection.
The Hogan act is old and stale. If he came out in Hollywood gear to Voodoo Child and not there to promote a beer things may have been different. We are just sick of the lies and the same old thing. He was being Booed in the mid 90s for the exact same reason for fucks sake.
Tom when did Los Angeles become a State?
These foreigners are so out of touch. Where are the Americans??
triple h, orton, angle, taker, flair, corey graves, kane, kevin nash.....all republican supporters ....none of them booed
Politics have nothing to do with this. The vast majority of wrestling fans do not want to associate with Hogan. Over the decades, he has repeatedly shown that he is not a good person. He lies about anything and everything; he is dishonest and hateful towards others. Although I am a Trump supporter, the moment Hogan stepped onto the stage at the Republican convention was the moment I got up to do some household chores.
He's also a scab who ratted out wrestlers who tried to unionise so he could get paid more.
actual criminals and monsters get away scott free irl, but someone said something mean once in their life in a time of vulnerability and everyone goes berserk
i really don't get it, who did he personally attacked or hurt? i've met Hogan irl and found no malice from the man, he even apologized and made up with Mick recently as he has been mending fences, and for product placement, dude, you checked the ring? Fortnite to Prime, WWE has become a bigger product placement, imagine this in the Attitude Era, when the only product placement we got is JR or King telling about some Playstation game or the recent issue of Playboy
American politics are the worse, i've seen people ruin entire relationships and families over which politicians they voted for
Oh man, since the late 90s wrestling media has been twisting Hogan to be as bad as can be.
They all talk like they caught Hogan j
humping their mother's and taunted them going WACHUGONNADOOO while flexing, and they have serious beef with the man because of it. They come here to be hateful, when it's not Hogan, it's a million other reasons. Hogan is basically the bad guy because he didn't step aside so the likes of Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit could 'obviously' save wcw.
If the show had been in Mississippi instead of Los Angeles he would’ve been cheered.
The actual truth is that all the people who were at the event in Los Angeles booing him and all the people online who also have a problem with him, are apparently a bunch of saints who have no criminal records, and have never said or done anything bad in their lives 👀 pretty mind blowing to know there are so many perfect people around
Did they say they weren't saints? They made it clear they're not racist and don't like racists. Freedom of Speech. Get over it
The actual truth is that he's Hulk Hogan and nobody else has that name to live up to. Say your prayers and eat your vitamins, *BROTHER*
That's exactly how I feel. I looked up to Hulk Hogan ever since I started watching wrestling in the early nineties, and he was actually in my top five favorite wrestlers of all time. But when his racist remarks surfaced, I never looked at him the same again. And now I can't even watch a match with him, his show, or anything else, because I know deep down he thinks a certain way about me, just because of the color of my skin.
This is not a jab against other people who like him. You do you, but this is just coming from a fan of Hulk Hogan who is never going to be a fan again because of his racism, not to mention the things he did in support of Donald Trump.
Man get a life. Grow up. Saying a word and having a past doesn't make you (enter hater commentary). Looking at someone one sided is just hypocritical BS. I bet you've also jumped on the hate Vince McMahon bandwagon too huh. Hogan isn't perfect so what, get over it already.
And there it is you admit it is either mostly or in part because of politics. At least you admit it

Maybe they booed him because his beer is trash?
I know Hogan has been a controversial figure over the years, but honestly I can't get behind people booing a 71 year old man, who's given his life to the business and still trying to make fans happy. I feel bad for the guy, he did so much for the business. Dude is 71... cut him some slack.

Huh? I'm comparing him to people like Edge/Adam Copeland, whose love for the business is clear in everything he does. He would've taken all those ladder bumps for free.
@@quercusquercus532 Adam Copeland has never come close to doing as much for the business as Hogan. He's an adrenaline junkie, wrestling is a great business for him to get his junkie fix. He didn't do that stuff "for the business", he did it for himself.
Lol, Hogan using his Rocky 3 money and new fame to invest in Hulkamania, turn down numerous TV and movie roles and tell the world that if you want to see him, you have to watch wrestling was doing more for the business. Hogan was the Hollywood breakthrough of the year in 1982, he used his fame to put over wrestling.
@@quercusquercus532 By the way, I talked to you the way I did because you've been manipulated by bullies to talk about these things like you're extremely high level even though you've never taken a step in such a world. You talk about Hogan like he is deserving of a poor performance evaluation while comparing him with Edge who deserves a high performance evaluation. Lol, stop talking and thinking like this lol. You can't talk about any wrestler in these ways because you don't have the voice for it.
If he were some other WWE Hall of Famer I'd still boo him for showing up to shill his stupid brand of beer that'll probably go under within a few years. Undertaker just showed up to rev his motorcycle and look cool, Triple H gave a great summary of the history of WWE and his usual pre-show hype promo, but it was clear Hogan was at least 50% there for an advertisement the second everyone saw his shirt. The other 50% was just his usual Hulkster rambling that jumped the shark long ago.
The crazy thing is most of the major headlines I've seen from this show have been about Hogan getting booed. I've hardly seen any headlines about the actual matches that have been built up for most of 2024, it's almost entirely about Hogan.
Did everyone forget about the racism? How much of a shit being he was to get the fame and recognition he has?
Combine that with his constant lying and massive ego behind the scenes the crowd reaction is only surprising because it's finally happening on wwe tv
That was over a decade ago. Get over your butthurt.
Lol, this community calls Bret Hart bitter for not getting over the kick that ended his actual career from Goldberg. Yet they won't even think about getting over a wrestler they've never met not doing a good job putting over another wrestler they've never met 2 years earlier. I think people are putting way too much "Oh it was political" into the reasoning behind it. Taker and the Rock are arguably just as public with their Republican political leanings as Hogan is. The reality is, Hogan is definitely a relic of the past. He's a known racist and was out there to shill a product, that's it. He wasn't there for WWE, he wasn't there for Netflix, he was there for himself.
