BMW made 2 models of the Isetta in the 50's=60's. They had a front opening door so the Mirolina is NOT the first car with a front opening door. I drove a model 600 when I was in HS.

These vehicles are very interesting. Of all the ones displayed, only the "one wheel" is available in Canada. It seems that for some strange reason, the other mini cars are not available here. Though, over the past few years, I have noticed an increased number of "spyders" and other 3-wheeled motorcycles on the streets. However, none with full enclosures. The price also appears to be a bit high for the moment. Though, when they will be produced in larger numbers, then the price may go down.

These are great but do you know how very damaging it is to the environment digging up lithium is? And not to mention you gotta replace the batteries around every 5 to 6 years and how polluting it is to dispose of them? Not sure how we as humans could improve on this but well. I do think they are very nice vehicles though.

SOOooo much incorrect and incomplete "information" in this video
-There has been ZERO new information about the Stator electric scooter since 2020. No one is selling one (although they list a pre-order price of $3999)
-Claims that the Microlino Microcar (Pronounced "micro-lean-o", not "micro-line") is the "First car in which you open the door to the driver's seat not from the side, but from the front" is WRONG. The Isetta (1953) was the first car to do that, then there was the Zündapp Janus , and the Dodge Deora truck. I've seen the OP trying to backtrack and say "well I meant".... NO. You said what you said, and it was wrong. Also the ludicrous claim that it can "Change color at the press of a button" is also a lie. Apparently also like the Stator, this is NOT FOR SALE yet, although the website claims it will be available staring in 2023. (it also has a standard range of only 56 miles)
-The Icoma Tatamel bike is (waaaait for it!) again.... NOT FOR SALE. Claims that it is "perfect for long drives & pleasure drives to the mountainside" are idiotic, as it only has a top speed of around 25 mph with about 19 MILES of range per charge. (those mountains better be DAMN close, and have electrical outlets for recharging!) And then there's the claim "You can carry the Icoma Tatamel bike around like luggage" is only true if you usually carry around 110 POUND suitcases. This thing costs $3,999 which is silly, because most e-bikes are less than that.
-Hold your breath folks, the The Israeli EV City Transformer (CT-1) is...... ALSO NOT FORE SALE! Supposedly available in Western Europe by the END of 2024, theoretically at a retail price of $17,400 (before taxes and delivery charges). The one prototype can supposedly go 110 miles on a charge with ONE person (top speed: 30 mph). Extend the tires, it's top speed jumps to 55mph. The doors NO LONGER SISSIER UP, that has been eliminated since the footage OP is using was shot.
-The onewheel pint is available for $1,050 (not $950) has a weight limit of 250lbs, a range of 6 to 8 miles, and a speed of 16mph. It is ILLEGAL in most parts of the USofA to ride this on the sidewalk (as the video implies you can do)
-Surprisingly, OP got everything correct on the Electra Meccanica Solo. Although this car/company has has a history for promising performance & release dates that were grossly inaccurate, I'm happy to see the little guy _finally_ got released. (even if the original promises of fantastic performance was reduced to reality) When plugged into a 110 household outlet, it takes 12 hours to fully charge.
NOTE: This vehicle is registered in the USofA as a MOTORCYCLE, and you need a motorcycle license to operate it. It has no airbags, no Anti-lock breaks, has not been crash-tested, and has a ROLL-OVER RISK. The manufacture also warns you not to drive it in snow or ice, and to avoid puddles and driving in the rain?!?. Also some reviews state that you have to go to the Solo dealership (only in California and Arizona) to replace the tires, as they are not commercially available, and the rear tire is connected to a drive-belt, and requires a mechanic to take the tire off. It is MADE IN CHINA for $21,000 all-in
-The Toyota i-Road. PO claims "This technology is Brand New!" Wrong. Toyota has been showing this concept-vehicle SINCE 2013. And yep, as of 2022 it is _still_ just a concept-vehicle, and like all but two of the items talked about in this video it is also NOT FOR SALE (estimates are if it were, it would cost $12,000)
So six "Fantastic Personal Transportation Inventions" shown, and only two are available: a dangerous-looking mono-hoverboard, and a questionable Chinese clunker.

concerning the microlino you talk rubbish. this concept in neither new nor revolutionary: it is the rebirth of the german BMW isetta which was built in the sixties. it had a one-cylinder 250 or 300 ccm motorcycle motor. i myself had one when i was a student in frankfurt/germany. it was so much fun to drive.
the microlino died, killed by stupid rules in switzerland. it is now made in finland (or sweden?) under the name EVETTA, which is an acronym for EV(is)etta.because the name isetta is protected, and therefore mus not bee the name for the car
BMW were stupid enough not to buy the rights and produce this iconic car. what a chance it would have been.... (fiat did it better withe the rebirth of the iconic 500 from the fifites. (b.t.w.: i have a new fiat 500 electric. what afantastic small car)
