Saving money on Groupon - but was this one worth it?

- I tried groupon for the very first time and bought a steak meal and wine for two in Bazil brasserie, Whitley Bay.
We were kept waiting for quite a time, even though the table was pre-booked, but was it worth it? Check it out and see and find out the amazing priced deal I got!
I stayed at Windsor hotel back in 1997. It was a very nice stay. Glad to see the hotel is still running. I do think that we had breakfast at Bazil. Dont remember if it was called Bazil back then? I think its been upgraded since 1997. Anyway, the steak looks very tasty. There was, and may still be, a bar/pub on the lefthand side after the hotels main entrance. A very cozy place.
I'm glad the meal seemed to be pretty tasty. The title made me worry you were in for a nightmare.
It certainly started that way. The meal was good. In fact I've now bought another voucher.
I booked a room at this hotel for a few days this August, hope both hotelroom and restaurant will be excellent
