Great hotel. The hills and steps were tough with my bad knee but not a big issue. Good food. Good pools. Entertainment. What more do you need?

Island is closed until September 2024 as the lighthouse is being spruced up at the minute
This is a joke, surely? It is absolutely awful. I had to endure one night in this hotel for a conference 30 years ago and still tell the tale of how bad it was. At least they are consistant.
And it's still the same, infact it's a lot worse
The place is a dump with no redeeming features! Avoid all Britannia Hotels, they prefer housing immigrants, all funded by the taxpayer.
It looks cheap, common and awful. I live in Blackpool and I wouldn't book my ferret in there for a stay.

Stayed there just shy of 50 years ago, it was a 4* and one of the best in Blackpool. Sad to see the decline in this once great hotel.

Food looks stunning - Especially that fish! Booked 2 weeks in August, and paid for an upgrade to a "Club Room". What type of room did you stay in? 😂
I don't know what type of room but it was comfortable and I walked out onto the beach. I would be happy with the same room next time I go there, maybe again this year.
@SpeakertheHatman Hotel looks great, but also a little unclear. Going with kids, so upgraded to Club thinking it would come with an adjacent living room. We'll see what they hotel says when I email. Definitely looking forward to this - Not been to Sharm since 2010!!!
