As a certified Cheesemonger, for many years, remember to save the Parmigiano Reggiano rind to add flavor to your next batch of minestrone soup or a tomato sauce for pasta. Every part of that cheese holds its unique flavor! Store the rind in the freezer until you need it, to extend its shelf life. Happy New Year to you and your family, you add such joy to my life!
I was thinking exactly the same thing. Putting any cheese so early in the cooking process isn't a good idea. O I'm not a certified Cheesemonger, but I'm a 'certified cheese LOVER' 😁
Yet another amazing dish. Believe it or not, your wee channel helped me through a very difficult time in my life. I know it sounds daft, but my father passed away in November and my mum is on the downward spiral of dementia. I was so stressed I couldn't eat. So always looking for inspiration I watched your videos. Between the wonderful food and your joyful nature, I managed to keep an appetite. Things are much better now and my family is always happy to see what I am cooking next. Thank you Cheryl, you bring far more to your viewers than just good food.
I CANNOT wait to try this!!! A few months ago I just moved into my own home and the slow cooker has been one of the best purchases I've ever made lol, such good food! And this recipe sounds great for me!
Now that we're getting into the heart of winter in Ontario, and the very cold weather is here, it's time to get the InstantPot out for hearty warming meals. This looks delicious, and is definitely going on the menu!! 😋😃
Oh, yes indeed, can't wait to make!! Happy New year and best for a healthy and safe year. Blessings on u and ur family. Yes I agree, a cook book wud be fantastic! 🎉😍👍
Thank you! Chicken pasta Alfredo is my husband’s favourite so I popped this in the slow cooker for his birthday tea. It went down well with all, another recipe added to my repertoire!
I was so lucky to get a slowcooker from my husband and my two boys for Christmas. I have wished for one for such a long time. Keep the slowcooker recipes coming! 😅☺️ This is a recipe I have to try! Looks so delicious! 🤤😋👍🏻 Stay safe. Take care. 👋🏻👋🏻
Looks awesome, wish I had the ingredients on hand. Will have to add to my shopping list. Thanks for reminder to share, I keep forgetting to do so and your recipes are so simple and delicious looking, they really need to be shared for my facebook friends to enjoy as well.
Cheryl, G'day. To compliment the Smoked Paprika I always add a chopped capsicum to the pot. Last Sunday I got a strong yearning for this recipe - BUT no cream and no capsicums in the fridge. Wasn't going to have something else for tea, so I used Coconut milk and four big dried chilies instead. Left out the butter too (by accident). Got a big Thumbs Up from my family. You are a real gem for sharing your recipes and techniques. Hoo Roo.
This is absolutely delicious recipe. I added broccoli, just lovely!!!!! Thank you. Edit: so amazingly delicious and easy, 6 days later I am making it again!!!!
I don't care for Alfredo sauce but my hubby loves it! I will surprise him with this one day soon! Happy New Year to you and your family from Canada! My kitty Abby says hi to Jasper!
I saw this in the meals of the week and it looks so YUMMY! I can't wait to get the ingredients and make this. I know it will be a big hit with the Mister. Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I don't comment often but really thoroughly enjoy your channel. Lots of love and prayers from Missouri in the USA💞
Happy new year, Cheryl. Pasta & chicken is mine & my daughter’s favourite. I am most definitely going to be making this. Thanks for the brilliant video. x
Ohhh Cheryl! You've done it again!! That alfredo looks delicious! Going to make it next week! Thank you, dear girl! Happy New Year! Hugs and blessings!
Happy New Year, Cheryl! Hope 2021 will be a great year for you and everyone watching. Chicken Alfredo Pasta is one of my favourites. Thanks for posting this recipe. Cheers!
Watched and shared again today. Wrote it down too. Gonna make it with the tagliatelle like in your recipes of the week video posted this past Sunday. July 26-August 1. TY Love ya.
It looks delicious!!😋 Although I'm tube fed, I'm keeping this recipe. So I can cook it if I have guests. I know for sure they will love it! Saying hi from the Netherlands.🤗
Am new to cooking. Try this. It's fragging delicious. I added to much pasta. 500g instead of 200. Soaked up all the broth, lol. It still tastes so GOOD. Gonna try another one of your recipes. Always wanted to visit Scotland. Braveheart is my favorite movie
It's the same way with nutmeg if you buy it whole and use a micro plane to grate it fresh it's a world of difference as well. The only way I have done it for years. I am going to try it next time I need white pepper too. Just use a coffee grinder to grind it.
This looks delicious Cheryl! I am going to have to get the slow cooker out and give it a try - though I think I'll add onions and mushrooms! 🙂 Love your channel btw! Happy new year xo
Hello, I love your shows/cooking, they are warm and comforting. Happy New Year! Quick question: Do you think fettuccine pasta would work, in this recipe? Thank you

Luke said thank you so much , we’re going to make this next week! 😋
Aw brilliant! So happy :) Thank you x
I can tell that the chicken, pork, fish, and beef in Scotland is much higher quality than the meat available in the U.S. So good!
Delicious (and love the Colman's English Mustard too he he !!) and any video that includes the word Knobs makes me giggle!

the chicken looks amazing. i might pop in a few veg when/if i make it, like peas or carrots or red bellpeppers, just for colour (and vitamins)
yes or some mushrooms
Mushrooms & spring onions (at the end) would be lovely, & would cut through some of that richness! x
I made this last week and it was delicious! Thank you so much for this wonderful recipe!
We will definatly be having this sometime this week 😍😍
Omg that looks so good! 😊
Happy New Year!
A reliable recipe, as always on this channel. I put less butter/cheese etc, otherwise it's too rich for me, but otherwise spot on.
Made this today family loved it thank you
This recipe is Fantastic!! I had to cut back a little on the garlic, but Amazing!!
Happy New Year from Japan😀😀😀!
Another fantastic recipe. Thank you so much. I believe in Canada, where I live, heavy cream is the same as what we call whipping cream.

Cheryl, happy New Year to you too! You are right, "double cream" is called "heavy cream" or "whipping cream" here in the United States.

Happy New Year ya bonnie lass.
Thanks
Maldon salt is expensive and it's not needed in your casserole. Use normal table salt like Cheryl said
Save money. A great chef mentioned that ..
250g Maldon Salt here in Ireland is €3.39. Not too expensive imo .
Hello sweetheart ❤Happy Hogmanay incredible recipe, once again yes. Top marks. Now I'm fancying clootie dumpling x
