It’s sound advice! I add a red trailer to my chatter baits too and achieve similar results in spring & fall! 👍 I also used to use a red ripple rind (Miss that old trailer! Bet you haven’t heard that for a while!) on my spinner baits in the 70’s-90’s in the spring & fall especially a hardly mentioned lure the beetle spin, black with yellow lines was my money bait…….caught my PB on it! 💰 💴 💵 You can just use the beetle and pop it from rock to rock to look like a crawdad! Would be cool to review the bettle spin via both spinner and jig/crawdad format-----
@TylerBergerFishing: Yesterday was my first outing of 2024...caught a 5 pound LM on a Berkley White Spinnerbait w/ Red Rage Craw minus one pincher! Direct result because of this video...thank you!
I've been preaching these points far years. I pour my own spinner baits, always put a red bead on the upper arm and always use a trailer. It's hydrodynamicly correct what you just said.
Excellent tips. I am old shool and use a trailer hook without any grubs or fat alberts, but, I will try a red/ orange grub with no trailer hook this prespawn. Should work well. Good info on the Berkley spinner bait hook length. Makes excellent sense to have a long hook. I like the tree comparison of leaves and no leaves. I do loose lots of limbs in the spring and summer verses the winter season.
Hi Tyler ... I enjoy all your videos on both of your channels, very informative and done in a manner that holds your attention. Well done! Would you do a short video on your boat's camera setup please? I am starting my own channel and you always have great shots with the proper camera angles.
I’m really liking the videos that you’ve been putting out on this channel lately! Short and to the point but at the same time full of very very juicy info lol yesterday when I was fishing a jig on one cast it caught the tree behind me and ripped off one claw but I fished it anyway and started catching fish I eventually lost the next claw and it looked like a stick bait and I kept catching them but it’s funny I wonder how many of ones I’ve been out and they were scared of the two claws
Something I do, especially if I want a little depth, is to change any 4.5 blade to a Hilde 4.0.JMO, but I feel many bait come with too large of a main blade. Counterstrike is an exception.
Great tip my go to is a Roland Martin big bass spinnerbait will give this a try why I like this spinnerbait it's a swing head maybe give one a try let me know what you think
Jimmy Houston has made the spinnerbait world famous for bass. Many years ago, my PB was caught with a Hank Parker Classic spinnerbait. Still effective today. Great video tips, thanks for sharing and great short format video. Happy New Year
Dang thanks I’ve never heard or thought about that.. now why I see I miss the fish on a spinner baits .. great information Tyler
I’m absolutely loving these new daily videos. Keep it up Tyler. Best bass fishing channel out there!!
Great video Tyler!
I love a red kicker blade this time of year. It’s a great job.
I took your advice a while ago to scrap trailer hooks in favor of meaty trailers to grab onto. Great advice.

We need to appreciate the work that Tyler is putting in right now. Running two TH-cam channels, posting daily, while also running a business.❤🎣

Heck yes!
Great tips,Thanks...
Get a level on that FINN sign it's driving me nuts..lol😂😂😂
Excellent. I use Dollar store fingernail polish for blade color changes and it's removable.
Solid tip !!
Yup fingernail polish works great to change the blade color!
loving these tips brother in this winter time
Great video!! Awesome tips o how to improve catches & hook ups!!! Stay Safe & God Bless!!!!
Excellent tips and tricks definitely will try them in spring. Thanks
Great explanation. I always use a plastic trailer as well. Thanks for sharing 👍

I will use sharpie oil based paints and paint the blades. I can mix them and love making a pink lemonade pink and chartreuse blade.
It is my favorite bait and a shallow crank bait is my number 2. I do not like square bills unless it’s muddy water.

Great video Tyler, thanks!
Great tips that I use but I’m gonna give the red craw a try.
Would the same idea work on a chatterbait? ie red blade and/or trailer
I always use a soft plastic trailer and never a trailer hook great video
Man great video ty, BEST TH-cam channel by farrrrr

I Really like your new channel and your short tips. Always positive and on point! Thanks!!!
Do you prefer the compact Berkley spinnerbait over the regular one? 1/2 oz vs 3/8 oz?
Thanks for the tips!! Continue with the excellent videos!!

Very cogent analysis.

Hey Tyler, love the videos. I lost my mind last year an jumped up to a Megabass SV 3 spinnerbait. The stupid thing just catches fish.....
Love a spinnerbait bite.
Another simple and quick way to make that blade red is red fingernail polish.
Great tips thank you!
Tomato color grub is out of this world good
Great tips on an awesome video
In the 70's a couple guys who took me bass fishing threw a white spinnerbait with red blades in the spring . I guess they knew what they were doing .
You can actually rough the blade up with sandpaper and powder coat the blade what ever color you want one side or both.
Carry nail polish and you can change blade colors in seconds and I can remove at home with acetone if I don't want it anymore. Cheap easy and fast.
Wait… so what happened to Bass Fishing HQ?
Nothing! This is just a side channel for daily short tips
👍👍
Dont be afraid to keep some fingernail polish around to modify colors
Why have you decided to start posting daily on this channel instead of the main channel?
I want this to be simply daily tip videos and I want HQ to be the more full in depth highly edited channel
🧠 🧠🧠
