    A comment from FlowZenSight :
"You have one of the most intelligent and intuitive ways of showing tai chi I have come across...much better than most of these self proclaimed (or even institution certified) youtube "masters". Very easy to follow and learn, thanks and subscribed!"
A comment from Patricia Kirk of Denmark:
"I saw your and Don's Tai Chi Qigong clips on You Tube, followed your link, saw some of your videos on your website and wanted to write and say how great it is to finally find Tai Chi presented in an understandable and down to earth fashion! I live in Denmark, and have been here for 28 years. Tai Chi is not a well known exercise or form for meditation here. I have wanted to learn more Tai Chi and take some Tai Chi instructors classes for years. However up until now, I have just never found anyone whose style of instruction/presentation that I wanted to use time to learn/emulate."
    A comment from kungfuzzzz:
"This is my favorite for basic lessons on Tai Chi. Great instructions and fun to watch! Thanks."

Many years ago I did Tai Chi on a dayly basis to get past burn out, had to stop after shoulder surgery and forgot my figures. I have always wanted to restart and 2 years ago I found Don Fiore and started again. Turned out I had heart problems which kept me busy and on medical treatment. 2 weeks ago I restarted with this program again. My back improves and even my blood pressure and heart problems seem to improve. And I feel more relaxed about the state of the world. Thank you for this post! I feel I am healing and am ready for life again 🏃‍♀️

I first found this video a few years ago, and I've pulled it up every now and then just to follow along. A few weeks ago I pulled a hamstring and have been doing physio to help sort it out. I decided to watch this video about 10 days ago because I remember Don saying that the slow movements will help strengthen the legs. I was pretty ambitious the first day I did the exercises, because I was so used to what my body could do before the injury. The second day I was a little more reserved, didn't go quite as far as before, kept it within my new limits. I've been doing this every day since, and on top of my physio exercises I feel like I'm walking normally again. Still not as strong, I know it's a process, but I'm going to keep this small practice. I always feel the energy moving through my hands and can tell when I have blockages. Super keen to learn more about this practice. Thanks for having this uploaded :D

A couple of days ago, I posted a message stating that my doctor recommended this video. I was remiss for not explaining why. As stated, I am a Veteran. Currently, I am in a treatment program for chronic pain. Well, there is a school of thought that states a facet of treatment of chronic pain is via changing the “Homunculi Receptors.” From my understanding, Homunculi Receptors are basically the pathways in the brain which tells we are in pain (if I’m explaining this wrong, remember, I’m the patient, not the physician!). The ability of the brain to change these pathways is called, “Neuroplasticity.” What does any of this have to do with Tai Chi? Hold your horses, I’m getting to that! Well, according to Professor Moseley & Mr Butler* (and apparently, my doctor), one manner in which to change these pathways is through movement of the arms which causes one’s arms to transverse from one side of the chest to the other (they call it, “crossing the midline”) and contrived controlled deep breathing exercises. Tai Chi fits the bill. Tai Chi also checks the block for another area of treatment for those suffering with chronic pain which is exercise. The way I arrived at this video, to make a long story short, is because of the coronavirus there are no classes at the VA (Veteran’s Administration Hospital). Everyone was on lockdown. My doctor had someone, who is also a vet, familiar with Tai Chi comb TH-cam in order to identify an instructional video which would be perfect for this situation. After two weeks of searching and researching the persons posting the video, this video & Mr Don Forie were highly recommend. After having vets try this video, along with others, this video was deemed to be the best.
That said, if someone is suffering from chronic pain, watching this video and performing the steps outlined in the video may be something that you want to incorporate into your healing process. As always, check with your physician first. If someone has any questions, I’m happy to answer as best as I can. If I don’t know the answer, I maybe able to refer you to someone who can answer/assist you.
    Namaste
    PS
*If you want more information on Homunculi Receptors (HR) and/or the various facets of treatment for chronic pain, and about chronic pain in general, here’s a lecture by Mr. Bates. The entire video is about an hour. However, if you just want more info on HR and crossing the midline (Tai Chi), skip to about timestamp 16:05.

Another good video to watch, if you’re interested in chronic pain (causes, effects, treatments, etc), is by Dr Kailia. I have to warn you, unlike Mr Bates, he tells no jokes (but the video is very informative):

The last one is a short video from the Mayo Clinic:

I found your tai chi in 2017 for my diabetic neuropathy stopped using it and now I can barely walk or stand without a walker. I do some form of exercise everyday and today tried this routine and I could do it without holding on to my walker, what's the scoop 😊😊

This is awesome. Can anyone explain the difference between this routine and the eight brocades?
This routine helps my muscles recover quicker, but the eight brocades help my tendons and fascia. I can't do both, if I do they make me feel very tired.
