It's so interesting because for people who wear makeup (or for those who don't wear makeup watch Beauty gurus) the steps of makeup seem so intuitive. I don't remember the first time I learned what steps happen when, just over time it's like you magically know what to do. LOL
It's like first timers for everything - like if you don't know how to cook and mom is trying to tell you what to do. For her the steps are obvious (and the "commentary" helpful). Your just fumbling around.
I feel like those who are into make up are learning stuff from magazines, TH-cam, Instagram and other people from a very young age so ofc it will be more intuitive because in reality we were paying attention and watching others do their makeup for a long time before we even tried to do it ourselves. Jusy for example my mother is a tomboy especially in her youth and never really did makeup preferring playing in the dirt with her cousins instead. But she said that from the time I was 5 years old when my aunts first showed me their makeup collection, I was completely fascinated and enamoured with it.
