A nice, really good pouch. But I prefer the 90 Patt WB Pouch in whatever cam scheme:
    1)
Using the 95 Patt Mug (BCB) AND the 58 Patt Mug doesn't look like an option with this pouch. This methodology worked for me 'cause I didn't have to carry mess tins: I'd put transfer boiled water from steel mug into the plastic mug (for my brew) then reuse the steel mug for cooking. Perhaps modern soldiers never expect to eat anything but boil-in-bag rations. Complacent mistake.
    2)
Is this pouch capable of carrying the BCB Crusader Cooker (Mk1) which nests nicely under the 95 Patt (BCB) Mug? Disadvantageous, if not. Better performing than the issue hexi/gel cookers AND is far mor compact, carried in this way.
    3)
No sleeve for the Millbank Bag? Troops are issued the water purification tablets - so this is quite an oversight!
    4)
The lifting strap makes sense but seems a little over-engineered. A throwback to the first 58 Patt Amm Pouches which were designed to raise the magazines (20/30rd SLR/LMG) AS the pouch is opened.
    5)
A lot of kit in the PLCE era was made overseas - but still had British NSNs (8465-99-...). How come this Israeli made stuff has ISRAELI NSNs (8465-31-...)? Israeli troops don't seem to use it.
    6)
Technically, it's PALS fitting - which makes it compatible to MOLLE and Osprey load bearing systems. MOLLE is the US genuine military issue system, in the way that PLCE, Osprey and Virtus are the British genuine issue load bearing systems.
As a former Paratrooper (58 & 90 Patt era) and current woodsman, webbing collector and researcher, I prefer PLCE though I well appreciate the flexibility of Osprey and Virtus. Modern troops seem to issued heaploads of kit, all of which they can't carry on Ops. Just as well that Britain won't ever need to rapidly deploy on the scales of WWI and WWII - the logistics of the (too much) kit surely couldn't work in our thinned out support arms capability.

There is no space in the pouch for the Mk I or Mk 2 Cooker from BCB.

The pouch was designed to carry the specific items shown based on a provided kit list at the time. My assumption is that any cooking system if carried would be placed into the utility pouch.
