    Heard multiple complaints about virtus and about it failing and falling apart. So i got myself a set Dragon supplies webbing, the service and advice from dragon was excellent, the webbing is comfy, well built and they give a lifetime guarantee if anything goes wrong it. Had a set for about four years and I've no complaints at all. Money well spent.

    Can you do a second part showing how it fits with body armour and daysack/bergan as a modular unit round the spine? Haven't seen that yet and won't be getting Virtus for a while where I am.

      Probably for the best mate, buy your own kit

    Surely it isn’t supposed to be used like PLCE webbing?
    Fight light
    Your going to be wearing body armour and have the pouches attached.

    Have you tried wearing the yoke in the rucksack configuration? I find it sits a lot better like this

    Dude...you could use a lot more Velcro at the back straps - just look how much padded shoulder straps you have at the front: WAY to much.

    I have assembled it but not used it as such. I plan to use it on RMQ shortly. Agreed about the QR ammo pouch. One of the biggest hangovers from 58 pattern was when we got plce mid 90s that people continued to overload it. Load discipline is key with this stuff. My only concern (at this time) is the velcro closure on the molle at the rear of the pouches. The pouches are not great for link on light role acmt to say the least. Being a reserve unit SQMS I don't anticipate much arduous use by myself however as guys go on course (SAA or PNCO) they back brief the lads on pros and cons. I am not about to ditch normal beltkit.
    Keep up the good work!

      I wonder why the 2 velcro strips (or belts - closures - whatever) at the back are so short: they could hold a lot more weight if these were longer. There is not enough velcro strip to hold weight.

    I put mine together and then left it in the locker and now use a shooters belt when I need to put webbing on! Good vid !

    Interesting video. What do you reckon to the bergen? Is the MK3 any better than the older types?

    • @CombatReadyHQ
      @CombatReadyHQ  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thank you, it is much better then the older versions especially the MK1 but I would still pick the older issued bergen over Virtus

      I have the JJ’s gen 4 and it’s a fantastic set of webbing, super reliable and strong. Really comfortable and looks good. I’ve had it about a year now and on exercise I’ve never had an issue what so ever. Well worth the money 💴
