Seth, love the full disclosure about reviews. Regardless of the good, bad or totally frivolous, the fact that you’re bringing pedal powered products to the viewers is greatly appreciated.
My personal favorite tool, that I’ve only been using for a few weeks now. I took a fairly heavy flathead shovel and used a table mounted belt sander and made an edge like a knife on both sides. I also did it to the front of the shovel. The thing is absolutely deadly- going through multiple inch trees in one swipe. It’s also good for the little sprigs that poke out of the ground- just give it a hit with the front of the shovel and they are gone. It’s now my go to tool for clearing trails. That and a pruning saw. If I can’t get through something on a trail with those two tools it’s going to be a foot thick tree. Works really good, it’s strong steel, and it has so much mass that it just rips its way through brush and such. It would also be very good for self defense.
Why don't you build Go Pro setups on your bike park so you already have all angual set-up Sorry for my writing mistakes I'm from Germany and love your videos
In regards to the "crud cloth", that seems like a waste. I've been keeping a damp washrag against the bladder inside my camelbak for my rides. After my ride, I can take out a nice cold wash rag and wipe down my face, arms, and whatever else. It's really refreshing and helps cool you down fast.
I also use a camelbak, so at the end of my ride I take off my sweat soaked t-shirt, clean my arms and legs off with it, and put on a fresh tee. Gross, I know, but it keeps my car interior pretty clean, and I shower the rest of the gunk off when I get home.
I love that even with your success you're still blunt with your reviews and conscious of the consumer. Thanks for looking out for our wallets! Keep up the good work. We appreciate it!
Seth, I just want to say I started watching you in 2015 and ever since the first few videos I watched you have been my favorite TH-camr. You put the upmost effort into you videos and always have me looking forward to Friday’s. Every other weekend I go to my dads and I usually am not excited because he can be mean sometimes, but I always think to myself “at least seth is coming out with a new video.” I just wanted to tell you you are an amazing inspiration to me and definitely one of my idles.
I’m all the way from Australia and all I wanted to say was hi and thanks for the awesome videos Seth you really turn biking into a whole other culture love from down under ❤️🇦🇺
Hey Seth! Me and my grandpa are both subscribed to your channel and we watch your videos each week as they come out...we love them! My grandpa is one of your over 60 subscribers and I’m 11. My mom, dad, brother and me and my grandpa are all avid mountain bikers. We love heading out to our local bike park that we affectionately call “the dump” because it’s beside a dump :-). It’s real name is Mt Work Regional Park. We like to make our annual pilgrimages to Whistler each year to ride the bike park and we also love riding at our local lift access bike park located on Vancouver Island called Mt. Washington. We sure would love it if you came up to Victoria BC to ride our local trails and try out the trails at Mt. Washington. There are a ton of great riding trails all along Vancouver Island as you make the trip from Victoria to Mt. Washington. I am sure you won’t be disappointed.
2:45 I wanna know how he came up with "8% easier" lol. Also this is like my favorite thing to do on a friday after school. I get home sit on the couch and play your youtube videos on friday. Its the best... thank you and keep up the great work!
Hey Seth, I got a bike hack. To measure sag, instead of using zip ties like people do, use pipe cleaners. They are soft and don’t scratch the shocks. Another hack, if you have the black stuff inside of your bite valve, fold a pipe cleaner in half, put the bite valve under running water and use the end of the pipe cleaner without the sharp metal part to clean the inside. (Craft pipe cleaners)
You are affecting results at Amazon right now. I followed the link for the Dakine Hot Laps Gripper and the "Customers who viewed this item also viewed" list was the Park Tool WH-1, CRKT machete and the Fiskars loppers. Good job!
I am new to the Mountain Biking community and have been binge watching your videos he last few weeks! They are honestly so informative and easy to watch one after another!
If you like the Fiskars loppers you will love the gerber gator machete. And the next slippery slope to purchase is the Fiskars axes. They also have a pretty cool rolling stone sharpener that brings back the factory sharpness quickly on all of their tools.
I subscribe to dozens of channels, but only this one I look frwd to. Always top quality with beneficial ingredients. Plus I just love looking at the man-cave. Well done!
Yo, the Berm Creek print made me stupidly happy. It's so cool that the company chose to make that for you. Would love to see one for Berm Peak once it's fully fleshed out!
Regarding the frame bags, check out the offerings from wolftooth components. They make a lot of products to maximize storage and retain bottle mounts. the b-rad bag I got falls between the prices of the two you mentioned.

I love that Dakine Gripper pack for when I'm not carrying my water pack bag (which holds everything and more that I could need, but the little pack has enough to get you by in a pinch and it doesn't weigh you down like a backback full of gear.. It holds pretty much everything I 'd need for a trail-side repair if I'm not going on a super long ride where I'll need to have 3 liters of water.
The Park Tool wheel holder is pretty nifty, wouldn’t make sense for an individual bc it’s not a huge issue if it’s just me, but at a shop it’s nice because I don’t have to bend over when I’m fixing a dozen flats on a Saturday. I also like it for tubeless setup because it helps prevent spilling, food for installing or replacing spokes and gets in the way less than a trying stand. Another employee thinks I’m dumb for using it but the owner likes that it’s getting use lol. Can’t say it makes it any much easier to install a tire unless it’s a really stubborn DH casing or tight 700c tire
Great hack for people who live in the city and don't have a garden hoze but want to clean their bike: buy a garden sprayer. It's portable, sprays enough water and easy to control. Saves my floor when bringing my bike inside! This is also very usefull if you want to clean your bike at a trail-head where there is no water.
I noticed the Hotlaps Gripper on your bike in a previous video and was hoping you'd say something about it at some point! I've got everything I need for general trail ride repairs stashed in mine, and it's super easy to swap between bikes. One of those little things that made getting out the door for a ride easier. One of the best things I've purchased for MTB in the last couple years... Total steal at $24.
😂😂 I’ve watched every video of your’s and not only are they very insightful and VERY enjoyable, but you also have a keen sense of humor! Keep up the good work! Checking in from the famous and beautiful Gettysburg, Pennsylvania!!
I LOVE Fishka powergear loppers! And if you accidently blunt the edge too much, you can replace just the blade for a fraction of the cost. Had mine for 10+ years.
After watching his last video where he built the shop I will gladly vouch for the circle square diamond prints. I bought my own after seeing them here and I will say they are. 10/10. Super sleek and super cool!
The fact that the company made a print for Berm Creek is honestly amazing and it looks great!
What would actually be amazing is if they provided it for public consumption...@Seth's Bike Hacks, please approve.
