As a kid of about 13 years old in 1971I became a fan of rod when he released Maggie may. No others rated him, but I used to sit on the roof of our 3 storey house singing it as firemen and my parents tried to get me down. I was , well they have technical names for it nowadays , but then I was just a little bugger to be beaten with a belt or cane. I followed him ever since and met him socially several times. Still adore him, still a fan, don’t agree with all he says as now I’m a 65nyear old multimillionaire with my own opinions. Rock on Rod.
