It's incredible how humble this gentleman is sharing the stage (and spotlight) with so many, including the audience to make this show an experience not to be forgotten. They may have paid to see Rod Stewart but they ended up being invited to be part of the show and leaving with so much more... I can not imagine the euphoric feeling on the ride home after being a part of this .. maybe one day I can only wish.

I must be up to 100th time enjoying this beautifull presentation. Not only Rod and Amy's singing, but that orchestra, the way that bass slides into the song, the background singers, and the sax break really make it gel like no other song. The audience participation was the icing on this. It had everything!

I hold this song closely to my addiction to alcohol. I first heard this tune when I was about 14, a beautiful charismatic young boy full of hobbies and aspirations. I used to listen to rod while making model railroad layouts, building and painting model airplanes, or working with my dad on the weeds of the house. Everytime I fail my self I listen to this, and it reminds me that it’s a journey that doesn’t end with one mistake, I’m sailing to be that lovely boy again. I hope one day I get there and stay.
