May not be that simple. There may be liability issues if Tim injures himself running over an obstacle or damages something he couldn’t see in the tall grass. If he’s on the property without permission, it could get messy. Absentee owners might not be properly insured. I have no idea what the laws of trespass are in Australia, but Tim likely does.
I don't why but this reminds of my husband who has a lawn mowing and Tree removal service and was paid by someone to mow a family members lawn. He went to the address and no one was home so he mowed the lawn. After he was done he realized he had the wrong address so he packed up his gear quickly and left. I am sure those people came home and still wonder to this day who mowed thier lawn....😁

Tim, try using the catcher mower on the lower setting on the path and road as a vacuum... so much less to blow after a quick pickup with the mower... also picks up the rubbish, rocks etc that you don't want to be blowing onto the lawn... the power rake / broom

I'd love to see some of the very tall yards done with an old fashioned scythe. Just the quiet rhythmic swish. I've seen completions that the scythe beats mechanical. Just a thought for an offshoot

Lovely job tim, I personally would of just mowed since the city isn't doing anything. I had a neighbor that use to live south of me ( a gardener) sad that he never offered to take care of the neighbors south of him & just let it grow like a jungle. I don't film but I do clean it up for them & I do the house south of me & across from me just to help out & don't like seeing beautiful houses yards going to jungle looking. I don't have the greenest yard but @ least I take the effort of maintaining it & making the yards look good in the neighborhood. I really wish I was there I would of trimmed those trees and bushes & did that yard myself no matter what the city thought, but than again that's me. But you know for a fact those neighbors do appreciate what you did for them 👍💯💯💯💯💯💯

Great job, looks good, you can mow the front yards as long as you don’t move anything to do so. but on behalf of motorcyclists everywhere, please be careful of grass getting out on the road, it only takes 1 second to ride over it and it can be like hitting oil. It’s so slippery and has caused many bikes to be laid down. Council workers are the worst for it. If you have a side discharge mower, please make sure it’s not facing the road

Stop worrying about what people say/type your doing a good deed I watch a bunch of lawn cutting they just go cut unless someone is home they will ask but not many people are gonna complain about a free service. How can people complain about free yard work?? You donate your time plus using your own equipment?? You make their property look great so how can they complain?? You can do mine anytime but I am in Texas!! Right now it is 105 degrees!! Never thought I would enjoy watching someone do yard work but it is very calming for me!!
Tim, good job the nature strips look better then the neighbors. I’m sure you would have been alright with cleaning up the yard. A home owner is not going to complain about a free mow. As for the people on the net that complain, just remember there are more important issues in this world to complain about. Tim keep up the great work. Goodbye for now from Seattle.

Stop worrying about what people say/type your doing a good deed I watch a bunch of lawn cutting they just go cut unless someone is home they will ask but not many people are gonna complain about a free service. Those people are behind a screen and have nothing else better to do is complain or start stuff. You do an amazing job and keep it up love everything you do for your community. Plus I'm pretty sure those neighbors are happy to see it cut
