Lawn looks good mate. A bit of discolouration is to be expected with a fisrt application of pgr.
There is a product you can apply with the pgr to reduce yellowing but i cant for the life of me remember what its called.
Keep up with it for the season is my advice. Definitely keep it at a half rate for the firt 2-3 applications.
If you've had a lot of rain recently it might be contributing to the yellowing.

I think your right with the yellowing being exaggerated because of water logging. Going to definitely go a bit lighter on the next application.

A bit of sea kelp and iron will help with the "bleaching " from the pgr.
      Looks great!

Thanks for the comment, I actually did put seasol (kelp concentrate) into the sprayer when applying the first batch of pgr.

The lawn looks good. I agree that the recent rain maybe contributing to the yellowing. If you apply an iron containing liquid with the pgr that should help reduce the yellowing. Eg. Plant doctor liquid iron or lawn play enhance. I would be sticking with your current rate and applied in around 3 weeks time. After a few apps you should be able to see the colour improvement.

Mate i go 8mill per 100sqm. For the first 2 - 3 applications for the year and i get a little yellowing even with mixing liquid iron in. The middle of summer i then go 12-15mill per 100sqm. It works well for me. But everyone keeps telling me to go a little higher with rates to get rid of the seed head in my tiff tuff.

Thanks, I am definitely going lighter next time.

@DaveVLawn you will find with pgr too you will have to verticut more often too as it makes the lawn thick. It looks good but I find it not as nice to mow! You should be proud tho the lawn is looking pretty nice I gotta say..

Yeah I think the rate on the label is a bit too heavy. I think though, each lawn will be a bit different. Sneak peak, reapplied at 10ml per 100m2 a week ago., so will see how that goes. Maybe Santa will leave an allet 20 inch verticutter cartridge for me ;)

The PGR is Primo Maxx by Sygenta. I believe it can be used on all grass types, but rates will vary depending on what you have and I noticed some die off and yellowing on the first application. Check the label for more detail on the application rate for your grass type.
The edger is a Ryobi One+ 18V Cordless 220mm Edger OED1850 Tool Only. I already had ryobi batteries, so when I needed an edger, I grabbed this and it has done a good job. Blades are easy to change. I seem to wear them down fast thanks to all the concrete. Hooroo ;)

The height of cut on the Allet Kensington 20H is about 23mm an inch in American. It is a bit hard to get a precise height without a calibration tool, which I don't have.
