Magic attacks ignore armor, actually! and you forgot to take the skeleton's Frightening trait into account. Initial gear is just added into the Gear section, until you get a backpack. Thanks for the video!
Thanks! I'll rearrange my inventory in the next video. Magic attacks ignoring armor would have probably killed me already... that's going to be painful in future combats.
