Oh man, Rob! I have been playing Ker Nethalas for a while now. I absolutely love the game but totally appreciate your opinion. I personally love the crunch although it took me a while to get into the flow of combat. The author is super active on his discord and answers questions. I hope you enjoy your playthrough!
Hey Rob - boy you got hung up on the crimes! You do know they serve as nothing but the reason you got executed and you don’t have to be guilty at all - they have zero mechanical or moral impact on the game. Your hero’s actions from the moment they wake up on define them. Though I bet you could make them have some impact, demons are good at taunting... anyway I’d be interested in your thoughts after you’ve been playing for a bit. The thing that’s struck me is the lack of a way to negotiate with encounters beyond stealthing by them or engaging in combat. After a while it gets a bit old but maybe I missed something. Cheers, loved the review!
I did not it’s not my thing don’t get me wrong but we got a lot of sensitive people in the world today so I gave a warning that it is a bit dark ….for me I don’t give a #%^* I’m more interested in how it plays
@@seahawk8601 Been about a month, what do you think of it? I'm finding its fun to dive into for a short bit but any more and it gets too repetitive. My character is just exploring in the hopes of finding a vendor lol.
I just want to throw it out there that if Ker Nethalas isn’t your cup of joe, Alex T of @blackoathentertainment5617 is an absolutely PROLIFIC writer. And all of his games are solo-able. I guarantee there is a world/game that he has created that you’d love!
