    I love your videos - super clear. Thumbs up! I am NOT seeing the super priority service on checkout, only the standard! I am worrying - I called them and they said I have to keep checking as it wont show if they are all booked up. Did you have trouble getting the Super priority option?

    • @TheNimbleNomad
      @TheNimbleNomad  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hiya - I applied for my ILR before the pandemic but my wife applied using priority last year and it was very straightforward. Super priority is unnecessary it’s the same thing as priority so you are paying an extra £300 for nothing much.

    Great video! What’s the requirements in terms of time away from UK? Is it 180 days in 5 years or 180 days in a year during the 5 years time? I thought the latter.

    • @TheNimbleNomad
      @TheNimbleNomad  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Priya - thanks for your comment; you need to have not more than 180 days in one single year outside the UK. If you have you can adjust the 5 year period you want to use or if your travel is work/holiday related, then you can reflect that on the reference letter from your employer. Hope this helps

      Thank you for your comment - the appointment can be at any center in the UK you can choose this when you are booking it. I did go to the one in Croydon.
      You need to go there and provide your fingerprints, take a photo and they validate your passport and BRP card scam against the originals. They also check if the scanned documents uploaded are legible and if not they rescan it.

      Hi - the rules have recently changed, I think it’s best to look up the requirements. They seem to be asking about leave granted and travel outside after 2018.
      When I applied it was a maximum of 180 per 12 month period and there was a 5 year limit as well, which I can’t remember off the top of my head.

    Hello. I am a nurse and i have a query about when to apply for my ILR. My entry date into the UK was 22/3/2017 on a tier 2 visa. This was cancelled by my sponsor in June on grounds of not fulfiling the NMC requirement. But I applied for another Tier 2 visa in August 2017 with the same sponsor. This was granted in October 2017. My query is that when do I start counting my 5 years continuous residency? Is it starting from my entry date or from the date of my second tier 2 visa? I have been receiving conflicting responses. Hoping to hear your opinion. Many thanks.

    Hello. I am currently in the process of applying for the IRL. I have leave to remain partner visa and I am using the set M form for the IRL application. I cannot find where I would enter or provide documentation on the time spent outside the UK. • @TheNimbleNomad
      @TheNimbleNomad  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      There was a rule change last year I think about documenting trips. So you just need to go back into the form and update it based on questions. I think it asks whether you have had leave to remain provided since September 2019 or 2020. I can’t remember but my wife had the same thing when she applied..
