On numerous episodes, one of the Cartwrights announces that they have a large amount of money on them . You would think that it would be common sense to keep such info quiet.
I watch only to see the episodes where Pernell Roberts is the lead man in the story. He was the best character in any western series I ever saw, and never did all the looney, crazy things one sees in westerns. Adam was infuriated with the nonsense of a 40 year old Paw who had 3 sons, from 25 to 40 and who treated them as teens...so many nonsensical idiot things that all westerns make up. I'd like to see a story with some historical facts but the only episodes that were adult and fine shows were the ones with Adam as main character. There is so much I could write but except for the shows with Adam in them, the shows were almost exactly the same every time.
Holy crap nobody knows freakin Lee Marvin! At that time he was a top box office draw on John Wayne's level. This was Pernell's chance to shine against a giant in the industry and he did well. Not gonna say great, but it was good; especially against Lee's completely insane character.

Without naming names I know an employer who has so much money they look so far down on their employees that they see them as a completely different species of human being. Between the script and actors, this was very similar to an Alfred Hitchcock movie, some idiot with a construct of pathology for self pity, self loathing, and wanting to die, because he's a failed in one attempt a survival. Wants to die a cowards death by another's hand, Lee Marvin plays the idiot with a pathology of death, a construct of a failed attempt at living,

On the ones where the sound doesn't seem to work you have to use headphones or a secondary speaker regardless if they plugin or are bluetooth. Then you'll be able to hear the sound. I don't know why it is or why it works, but it does. That's something I learned watching videos on my lunch break at work. So now when the sound is too low or garbled sounding or nonexistent I know to plugin my headphones or listen to it with my bluetooth speaker or through bluetooth connected car speakers.
Oh my goodness. This movie is so sad and horrible It’s disgusting and I’m tempted to quit watching it. Besides, it doesn’t really tell me how Adam has gotten himself into such a predicament!!!! 😮😮😮😮
