Tried to turn it on and it got super hot. I have memories that are irreplaceable in that phone I need help, most of the photos weren't backed up.
In the case of water damage, you want to disconnect the battery cable as soon as possible and not attempt to use the phone so it won't short the board. You need to basically take it apart, disconnect the battery cable and dry out any liquid or moisture inside. And then brush off any corrosion on chips or connectors with a small brush like a tooth brush, and plug the battery back in to see if you're able to get it to power on. Send me an email to pbkreviews@gmail.com

I press a lot next to the volume key on the screen, it makes a sound like a hand on plastic. Please help, thank you
Majority if not all screens will have copper film behind them for heat dissipation. Now if they use it for other purposes as well its possible, but it's mainly used for the heat transfer.
You can find the replacement parts as well as the adhesive on this website. Not sure if they sell the battery adhesive, but if not you can just use 300LSE or similar. www.mobilesentrix.com/replacement-parts/samsung/galaxy-s-series/galaxy-s23-ultra-5g
Not sure what you're referring to. Do you mean that additional hole next to the charger port? If that's what you mean, that I am not 100% sure. From what I was able to tell it might be a channel to the speaker in addition to the standard speaker openings in the frame, but internally it doesn't lead to anything. So might be channeled from inside the frame itself.
@@PBKreviews Perhaps they're referring to the long oval section on the actual left side of the phone below the buttons. I can't see it in any of the views in the video or anything it'd be connected to, and I don't know what it is either.
Received my s23 ultra the other day. After testing the phone, I took a nap. However, I decided to add another sim on the slot when I woke up. I accidentally inserted the sim ejector pin to one of the tiny mic holes at the bottom with enough force thinking to eject the sim slot. My question is, is there some kind of barrier to protect the mic from being poked? I recorded multiple vids and made calls, mic is ok they said.. I hope the pin didnt puncture through the mic. Any help and suggestions would be appreciated. There are two holes for the mic at the bottom of the phone. Is the mic located directly in front of those holes?
Hi, you will be fine, since the mic and filter are both seated above the hole and the opening in the frame is like a sideways L shape so you won't damage anything.
hello. I replaced the frame/display and everything worked great for 2 weeks, now i have no touch just S pen response. what could be the problem....flex cables?
You can try a software update since some replacement screens require the phone to be on the latest software to work properly. I know you can't access the phone since touch don't work, so you may need to use another screen which works with the phone like your old screen if still usable or you would be required to flash the firmware with the computer which will also result in your data being lost. Most of the time it would be that, if still no luck, you can re check the cables.
Is this doable without a heat gun? I have a smudge only on my .6 lense, not the cover, the actual lens itself man, only way to get it would be to send it back, or pop the case off and wipe the dang lens.... I can see it when I shine a light on the lens. .. 😢

I press a lot next to the volume key on the screen, it makes a sound like a hand on plastic. Please help, thank you
hey bro can I use s20 g980 battery on g981b model for replacement? Thanks.
Thanks for the video. Sound seemed a little muffled though as there were some words I couldn't understand fyi.
You're welcome. Yeah I tend to speak fast and try to slow it down.
ممتاز good
👍
Is copper behind the screen for heat dissipation or s pen or both? You said heat dissipation but afaik copper is for s pen.
Majority if not all screens will have copper film behind them for heat dissipation. Now if they use it for other purposes as well its possible, but it's mainly used for the heat transfer.
@@PBKreviews Thanks for clarifying. 😃
7:21 what’s the adhesive on the main board and the battery called?
You can find the replacement parts as well as the adhesive on this website. Not sure if they sell the battery adhesive, but if not you can just use 300LSE or similar. www.mobilesentrix.com/replacement-parts/samsung/galaxy-s-series/galaxy-s23-ultra-5g
Thank you so much for your Nice work 👏👍
Thank you and you're welcome 👍
Can i change Back Camera S22 Ultra used Back Camera S23 Ultra ? or used Main board S23 Ultra to S22 Ultra
Can you add another colour?
Is there an ldi in it?
There is a button or slot under the side key near the bottom of the phone.... What's does it do or what's its purpose?
Not sure what you're referring to. Do you mean that additional hole next to the charger port? If that's what you mean, that I am not 100% sure. From what I was able to tell it might be a channel to the speaker in addition to the standard speaker openings in the frame, but internally it doesn't lead to anything. So might be channeled from inside the frame itself.
@@PBKreviews Perhaps they're referring to the long oval section on the actual left side of the phone below the buttons. I can't see it in any of the views in the video or anything it'd be connected to, and I don't know what it is either.
Was the S23u screen easier to remove from the midframe than the S22u?
Somewhat the same
Received my s23 ultra the other day.
The video is perfect! Thank you very much for sharing! 🎉
PS: That flipping effect is so annoying and distracting.. just letting you know 😊
Thanks, yeah a lot of people said that so I stopped using transitions in the videos afterward.
Wow you got it early 👍🏽
👍
@@PBKreviews 👍🏽. Very minimal changes from the S22 Ultra...looks like we are entering Samsung boring years 🤣
i need to replace power button. how to get to it?
the heat dispation it seems more reliable than previous
👍
Большое спасибо за видео, было очень интересно. 👍
You're welcome :)
What do you think about the pull tabs?
They are definitely welcomed. They might not be as good as the Xiaomi pouches but they work and help.
@Where is the vibration module located?
In the speaker assembly housing.
Great video, you forgot to compare finger print sensor with s22Ultra
Thanks, yeah it was the same size no change but forgot to mention it.
thank you for sharing this video you gained ❤ 👍 from me
Thank you and you're welcome :)
Does your s23 ultra screen have defect at bottom bezel?
My Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra 512GB doesn't have any issues.
After the horror of 350 bucks of the S21 Ultra screen repair I did not want to get any S Ultra again.... This gives me hope.... Thanks!
Is this doable without a heat gun?
I have a smudge only on my .6 lense, not the cover, the actual lens itself man, only way to get it would be to send it back, or pop the case off and wipe the dang lens.... I can see it when I shine a light on the lens. .. 😢
you can use a hair dryer, but you would need replacement adhesive to re apply the back
Samsung needs to make the PCB fully black would look sick.
👍
Doesn't look easy to repair to me. All those tiny bits all crammed up inside this phone, it's ridiculously amazing to see how far we came in terms of technology!
It's not hard at all, but if you have no experience, the first time might be. In terms of this phone vs many other ones, this by far is easier :)
