  • I've been wanting to try this for a long time now, and with the whole corona virus thing going on, I finally have enough time to. This is just a video explaining what it is that I'm trying to accomplish, and testing the electronics with the battery to make sure nothing goes up in smoke as soon as I plug it in.
If you like, comment, and watch most of the video, it makes TH-cam more likely to recommend my videos to other people, so it really does help out!

I have a t-maxx and a revo that I run on milwaukee m18 batteries with mamba monster x esc and tekin t8g2 2250kv.. And they are super fast. I've never had a problem with discharge from the batteries. Always have lots of power. I use the revo every day.
I also have a redcat caldera that I use the m12 batteries on. I made adapters for the batteries that are very similar to yours.
    Good work man. Nicely done.
I'm currently converting my xmaxx to run on 10s. Two m18 batteries.
I think that the 810kv is a little low on the rpm range, but I could be wrong.

Dude that xmaxx is gonna rip. 810kv might be a bit low, but the price was just right. ($18 on sale)

    Great videos man!
I had a Rustler as a kid...Been wanting to buy another RC but batteries kept me from doing so.
Just bought a Stampede a few weeks ago and converted it to run on my Ryobi batts. It works great and on a 4Ah battery will run for a full hour. Mine is a stock XL5 with Titan 12T motor. I 3d printed the case and used a DC converter to adjust the voltage down. It feels low on power (torque) but is fast enough to have fun with (25MPH est).

@@fishinkarts2865 Get one, you'll use it more than you think.
I bought a broken one (Qidi X-one2) on ebay for $123 shipped. Its paid for itself several times over.

I absolutely will eventually. I want to learn a little bit of cad modeling before I get one so that I can start using it right away.

@@fishinkarts2865 Tinkercad has almost no learning curve and its free. I use it and thingiverse for everything.
