HOW TO USE YOUR ZIG-ZAG STITCH
Hey everybody! I wanted to show you how I use my zig-zag stitch for making various zig-zag stitches and also to sew on buttons. I have a Brother Project Runway, but there should be length and width options on all machines that have a zig-zag stitch.

I got that same sewing machine, and I love the zigzag but I keep getting my thread all caught up in my machine.

You could try and Google, why your sewing machine thread tangles when you use zigzag. Maybe a tension issue, blunt needle, machine threaded incorrectly,
I find i need to hold both my top thread and the bobbin thread at the same time, when I start to stitch, this helps preventing the threads getting lost under the needle. 🤔✂️Good luck! 🇦🇺💖
