I really like the design. So i watched another vid, I noticed you didnt put a metal floor on the oven. Have you had any issues with that design of the floor? And also just wondering how much weight this oven could hang? Thanks.
The only issue I've had with the floor is it takes a little longer to heat up because there is no insulation besides the concrete itself. Surprisingly I have no leaks around the bottom of the oven but I think that's because the heat rises and the floor is very flat. I am going to build an insulated removable floor and do some tests to see what the actual affect is and which is better. Originally I though I would be using a rack but I haven't used a rack once. This oven is VERY strong, I could easily hang two or three hundred pounds, probably more. The biggest design issue I've had is heat escaping through the metal near the corners because I didn't shove insulation all the way tight to the corners. Everywhere that has insulation is just a few degrees above room temp, but the corners on the outside measure 160 regularly. So suggestions would be make sure to use an air measuring thermocouple, make sure to insulate all the way tight to the corners and maybe double up on the tadpole gasket. Also I would do away with the convection blower, I hardly ever use it and when I do it drops the oven temp by 15 degrees. Sorry for the long answer but these are things I've noticed since the build.

Looks great!
Where did you get the tadpole seal? How do u size its diameter? I have a 3/8 space between my door and the oven.
I bought it on Amazon, I believe mine was 1/2" gasket. For 3/8" gap 1/2" is probably about right.
