Love your content! Some doctors on social media have raised concern about lymphatic blockage in the face due to filler. Is there something to it? Would love to hear your take on that. Thanks in advance 😊
Hi Dr. Idriss :) Nasolabial folds are the bane of my existence. Thankfully I never developed the line but in lighting you see the clear level difference. I have been using tretinoin for that area because my skin is very resistent to irritation. (at least I don't see or feel anything after application.) Would you still recommend not using retinols in that area if you don't feel irritation?
Not a doctor but from everything I've heard from doctors I'd say yes. As long as there's no irritation it's all good. And if u ever get some irritation u can buy an eye cream w retinol and use it on that area as well since those eye creams have gentler formulation for more delicate skin
I have them since kid and now 44 they look awfull, i put a bit of filler, nothing happend at all, thanks i will try PRP but i have anemia so is that procedure ok for me? Thanks a lot you look great.❤
Ooh I think she is right I am 28 and last year I got obssesed about having a fold, I think it wasnt even there. I injected slight filler on it, and I looked quite fat. Now, more than a year later I feel the filler somehow went to my jawline, so my face looks even more fat. My weight did not increase much. Is it possible that that filler somehow went down my face? I asked the doctor he said its been actually almost a year and a half and he says its impossible that there is any rest of filler on my face at all.
@@youwhat098 oh ok... I thought it was ilegal to lie about a procedure you are injecting into someone... I guess its not or they do it anyway. I wonder why some people look good with it thou. @@YFL.111 please change doctors. Not all doctors tell the truth. Some of them just want to make money.. I recommend not getting any more filler and look for a reputable doctor who can help dissolve most of the filler. Doctors typically dissolve fillers using an enzyme called hyaluronidase. This enzyme works by breaking down hyaluronic acid, which is the main ingredient in most dermal fillers. Here's how the process usually works: The doctor injects hyaluronidase into the area where the filler was originally injected. The enzyme breaks down the hyaluronic acid in the filler, causing it to dissolve. The body then absorbs the dissolved filler, and the area returns to its previous state. It's important to note that hyaluronidase only works on fillers that contain hyaluronic acid, such as Juvederm and Restylane. Other types of fillers, such as those made from collagen or calcium hydroxylapatite, cannot be dissolved with hyaluronidase.
I love your content! I have to know, are you using a filter on your camera? Because you’re dewy and blurry and I think we’re the same age, so… Are you magically blessed? Super disciplined in your regimen? Or is there a filter?
Heya just to let you know I know you say no filter but there seems to be some on. I believe it’s on auto depending on the device or maybe the app you using on. I know some android phones have a built in beauty mode on their main camera app
What should you do if you’re prone to perioral dermatitis but still want to do some anti aging in this area? I think even the tiniest percentage of retinol will cause a perioral dermatitis break out 😩
So would you do a video or explain to me here about the PRP and exactly where on the face it is more beneficial as opposed to Botox and fillers. Does PRP freeze the muscle or is PRP like a filler?
I totally get what you’re saying about the puffer fish situation BUT I lost quite a bit of weight over like 2.5 yrs and my face lost so much volume. Do you ever think it’s ok to get the smile lines injected?? I’ve been saving up lol for this exact procedure and now I’m questioning everything! Would you elaborate on where you injected yourself and why or what the result is? I appreciate your perspective so much!
Do you have any recommendations for lessening the nasal labial folds? I know that they're natural, but because of genetics, mine are especially deep and they really bother me. If it matters, I turn 30 this year.
Please make a video about Restyline Skin Booster. Some say it’s a filler, some say it’s not, some say it’s more like Profilho. My derm recommended it for me but I don’t know what to think, I need more information 🥴.
If there is not already a video about it I would love full length video about lines and best options of treatment (smile lines, brow lines, forehead lines, maybe around eyes zone) maybe like a series when you target one area like fold here and do and don't treatments for it ❤
What can help? Massage? GUASHA? Do Microneedling help? I don’t want to fill it in either but it’s getting pretty deep overtime bc I have genetic predisposition, everyone in my family has it deep.
Like I get that we all want to be near perfect but people need to realize that it's ok to have smile lines and crows lines...it makes a person a lot more approachable and warm as it shows they are smiling person. :)
My mom has extremely deep smile lines. She’s gotten filler on theirs a few times, but obvs it only lasts a short while. Will these treatment options u have work for very deep smile lines?
I have drooping on one side of my lips, not the smile lines, which sometimes cause pimples. I saw a big change, suddenly, as hormone levels dropped and before finally finding a doc to prescribe hrt. But, still no one will prescribe tretinoine. The derm i saw last year simply said 'the damage is done' and i had no precancerous indications. I'm in my early 50's and know there's more that can be done than what i was told.
Thank you for this …. i’ve been treating this area with retinol, but it is super sensitive and I will wake up in morning sometimes with flaky skin. I’m guessing maybe use gentler retinol there and make sure to moisturize after?
Also, in my opinion "smile lines" look really beautiful. They make people look real and alive, they hint at personality... Having a smooth face looks great in photos but in person I find that it can be boring.
How specifically should we apply retinol? I usually apply it at night, but on my face entirelly. How and when should we apply it in those areas and what should we do with the rest of the face? Thank you! Love your channel!

Nasolabial folds are the bane of my existence.
Good evening Doctor is it true Prp procedure is good for eye bags
My smile lines popped up after my ex broke up w me bc I cried all the time. I hope they’re not gonna be permanent
Do you rely on skincare at all? Or just mainly botox and fillers?
I’m over 50 & have very light smile lines by my nose but not going down to my mouth. I accredit that to my life long “Resting B’ Face”.
I have them since kid and now 44 they look awfull, i put a bit of filler, nothing happend at all, thanks i will try PRP but i have anemia so is that procedure ok for me? Thanks a lot you look great.❤
Yeah, I feel like I have muzzle because of my smile lines. Mine don't entirely go back & I just have cheeks.
Gorgeous smile Dr Idris
What about when these become more pronounced with large weight loss?
Ooh I think she is right I am 28 and last year I got obssesed about having a fold, I think it wasnt even there. I injected slight filler on it, and I looked quite fat.
Now, more than a year later I feel the filler somehow went to my jawline, so my face looks even more fat.
My weight did not increase much.
Is it possible that that filler somehow went down my face?
I asked the doctor he said its been actually almost a year and a half and he says its impossible that there is any rest of filler on my face at all.
Filler tends to migrate to other parts of the face. It doesn’t really dissolve
@@_erikamichellee oh no.... So what to do? I will forever have a fat face now?😥 Is there any solution? Why do doctors lie saying it disolves?
@@YFL.111 a lot will lie so they can continue to have repeat customers and a business
@@youwhat098 oh ok... I thought it was ilegal to lie about a procedure you are injecting into someone... I guess its not or they do it anyway.
I wonder why some people look good with it thou. Doctor Sherene for example, she looks very natural and I recently saw a video where she explains she injected this things on herself for last 10 years! So it's a long time but she doesnt look like Madona
Here's how the process usually works:
The doctor injects hyaluronidase into the area where the filler was originally injected.
Filter.
Thank you for the info Shereene!
Are red light devices okay to use on acne-prone skin that have scars and pigmentation due to acne?
Heya just to let you know I know you say no filter but there seems to be some on. I believe it’s on auto depending on the device or maybe the app you using on. I know some android phones have a built in beauty mode on their main camera app
Thank you for talking about filler ❤️
Happy Birthday.
❤I'm more worried about the vertical lines above my lips aka smokers lines. Any tips on how to get rid of them? ❤
I’m finally seeing my first dermatologist next month for bad hormonal acne, can you recommend any tips
Good luck 🙏🏼
What should you do if you’re prone to perioral dermatitis but still want to do some anti aging in this area? I think even the tiniest percentage of retinol will cause a perioral dermatitis break out 😩
So would you do a video or explain to me here about the PRP and exactly where on the face it is more beneficial as opposed to Botox and fillers. Does PRP freeze the muscle or is PRP like a filler?
Hi , are fillers good for undereye lines ? I hve pretty much had them since i was a child
I have learned so much from you, and I love your channel! Off the subject, but what lipstick are you wearing? So pretty! Thank you 🌸
I totally get what you’re saying about the puffer fish situation BUT I lost quite a bit of weight over like 2.5 yrs and my face lost so much volume. Do you ever think it’s ok to get the smile lines injected?? I’ve been saving up lol for this exact procedure and now I’m questioning everything! Would you elaborate on where you injected yourself and why or what the result is? I appreciate your perspective so much!
Question: Any advice for a specific retinol product to use in that area?
Thank youu
As someone who is smiley almost 24h/day that doesn't bother me lol
Wow!!! Your skin is flawless ❤❤❤❤❤
You are the best ❤
What’s something you recommend for the bar code wrinkles above the lip?
I literally like these videos before I even watch them because I know I'm gonna come back to it later for tips
is tretinoin, even at .025%, too harsh for the smile line area? i’ve been using it after moisturizing
Pls review the VT Reedle Shot, does it really work as microneedling?
I've been curious about effective treatments for mid-cheek lines( early 20s). Any recommendations?
I would appreciate any recommendations for a “mild retinol” to use on the simile lines. I currently use a 0.025% retin-A cream.
I would love a video about which parts of the face do you recommend getting filler and which not.
If there is not already a video about it I would love full length video about lines and best options of treatment (smile lines, brow lines, forehead lines, maybe around eyes zone) maybe like a series when you target one area like fold here and do and don't treatments for it ❤
Longer & more in depth version of this short tbh 😂
What can help? Massage? GUASHA? Do Microneedling help? I don’t want to fill it in either but it’s getting pretty deep overtime bc I have genetic predisposition, everyone in my family has it deep.
learn to love them.
Like I get that we all want to be near perfect but people need to realize that it's ok to have smile lines and crows lines...it makes a person a lot more approachable and warm as it shows they are smiling person. :)
Retinol on my smile lines made them worse, now I have rednesses/irritation that has exaggerated them, what products should we use instead of retinol ?
Love you for that. ❤
Thank you for this …. i’ve been treating this area with retinol, but it is super sensitive and I will wake up in morning sometimes with flaky skin. I’m guessing maybe use gentler retinol there and make sure to moisturize after?
Has anyone noticed how much she looks like lady gaga?😊
Yes haha
Also, in my opinion "smile lines" look really beautiful. They make people look real and alive, they hint at personality... Having a smooth face looks great in photos but in person I find that it can be boring.
Neutrogena makes a retinol eye cream that’s a bit less intense since it’s specifically made for the eyes. Great around the nasal labial folds as well!
How specifically should we apply retinol? I usually apply it at night, but on my face entirelly. How and when should we apply it in those areas and what should we do with the rest of the face? Thank you! Love your channel!
What potion would you consider me using for lines around the mouth there're bothering me so much.
Thanks,
I have a question for the lines at the top of my cheeks under my eyes ( not the bag area) should I do filler or Botox?
I'm so used with "39" yrs. old board certified dermatologist.😅
