    One and a half year later, I still use this regularly. My only major issue was that you can't shape your brows with this. More than a year later they've released a new BROW TRIMMER which I also just reviewed th-cam.com/video/F4hl5TmMsWU/w-d-xo.html
    I have also reviewed the Braun body mini trimmer from the same range th-cam.com/video/p_dAtI5a6I4/w-d-xo.html

      @Saba Og hair accumulated on that little head after I got it. When I tried to remove it with the help of a brush, it got stuck there. it doesn't come out. This reduced the performance of the machine.

    Hi. Thanks for the detailed review. It will be very helpful if you can answer these questions I have
    1. Does this trimmer give as close a shave as a razor? Does it remove/shave very short hair (3-4 days growth)?
    2. Have you noticed skin darkening/ pigmentation when using this product more frequently (say once every 4 days)? I notice this with my regular razor.

    • @MagaliVaz
      @MagaliVaz  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      1. Yes. Maybe it's slightly less close but I can't tell the difference. If my skin is textured / bumpy it flares up sometimes, a razor irritated my skin more but this is gentler.
      2. I don't, no. But I've never used it that often & don't believe shaving causes any darkening or hyperpigmentation for me at least.

I did feel that my upper lip area was getting slightly rough and bumpy when new hair was going out alone. Will it help with the chin hair which is thick because of hormonal issues like hirsutism. Because shaving with eyebrow razor doesn't removes clean and smooth.

    • @MagaliVaz
      @MagaliVaz  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey the results that this gives are similar to shaving. So if you're not happy with shaving, you won't like this either. Only way to get a super smooth finish is tweezing (if there's less hair) or waxing. Both pull hair from the roots & do hurt - but if you continue for a while, they hurt less over time. But you will have smoother skin for longer. Would NOT recommend either of these methods if your skin is sensitive & you get bad bumps / reactions after doing so though.

    Thank you for your review! Quick question - do you know if you need to get new razor for the top of it every so often? Or does it just last for the life of the product? I’ve seen other similar products (like Finishing Touch facial hair removal) and they have the razor part available to purchase because you have to regularly change them out. Thank you for your advice and review!

    • @MagaliVaz
      @MagaliVaz  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Anjali, yes you can. In fact this kind of a trimmer is the safest thing to use because hair isn't pulled from roots & the blade doesn't scrape your skin. Just be slow & gentle & use a calming moisturiser afterwards (preferably something fragrance free).

    Hey Magali love the video, I actually have sensitive skin too and any harshness causes bumps and itchiness on my skin so I was thinking of buying it but I have fast facial hair growth (not much but I guess a bit faster than average) so I'm not sure about it. Also do you get pigmentation around the skin since the hair is still there so shaving sometimes does that to the skin so does this too?

    • @nicolekyoko5585
      @nicolekyoko5585 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      This is a hoax. Hair will not get thicker and darker. It depends on your hair removal method. If you wax, it might come back thinner since the follicles might weaken. Shaving makes it seem as if you get thicker and darker hair, but that's not true. Shaving only takes the top of your hair away. The thicker, lower part of the hair grows and comes to the surface, making it seem like your hair has gotten thicker and darker.

    Thanks for the detailed video Magali! Was just wondering is this more effective than a manual face razor?

    • @MagaliVaz
      @MagaliVaz  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If effective means quick then no, razor always wins. I switched to trimmers because I found even after many years of razor use I was still giving myself cuts etc - especially if my skin was more textured or bumpy that day. So this is way safer in that sense, no need for extra skill or care, no possibility of injury, super beginner friendly. But if razors are working well for you then you don’t need to buy a trimmer.

      They are very different so I couldn't directly compare the two. I could compare two trimmers or two epilators but between an epilator & a trimmer, the question comes down to are you ok with pain? Do you not have skin sensitivity issues? If more YES then epil, more NO then trimmer. When I initially reviewed the epil I loved it's performance but many years later with sensitivity & eczema I am happier with a trimmer.

    How long does your face remain fuzz/hair free after using an epilator vs this braun trimmer? Is it similar to regrowth time when waxing vs shaving?

    • @MagaliVaz
      @MagaliVaz  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's been a while since I used the face epilator but I could easily use it once every 10-14 days. With a trimmer, based on my hair growth rate & thickness I usually do once a week. I mean I get minor hair growth before that but it's too fine to notice. I would say similar to waxing & shaving. Just depends on whether it's removed from the roots (waxing, epilator) or removed from the outside at your skin level (shaving / trimmers).

      Yes it should be similar. However threading cuts the hair really close to the skin (that's why the stretch your skin, it hurts too) this won't cut so close so you might have to do it slightly more often. That's the only small difference.

      @@ShaGun_INDIA Hey, could be you have sensitive skin. I experience it sometime but not often. Just use it on clean skin (no product) then use a soothing lotion or toner after finishing (preferably something gentle without fragrance). Also if your skin is more sensitive just before periods, avoid hair removal during that time. Hope this helps!

    • @MagaliVaz
      @MagaliVaz  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Hey! No clear answer, it depends on your preferences. Resharing my reply to someone else on this video.
