Oh my God...I laughed so hard when she said "You know when you are done when it stops inflicting pain." I have been using a regular Epilady on my legs and armpits and the pain still never ceases to amaze me. However, the results are well worth it. Honestly, she did a great job reviewing the product. I just got a kick out of her comment.

I think the facial cleaning brush is included because exfoliating is important before epilating. I have the same epilator but mine didn't come with the brush 😞 because it's the Gillette Venus version which is still made by Braun strangely. I wish my exfoliating brush would slightly rotate since it only vibrates, it doesn't exfoliate that good.

    • @CorrieV
      @CorrieV  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

A lot of hair on my cheeks were dark so when i found out about this epilator i bought it instatly. It removes hair really good but i have a big problem with redness and pimples after using it. It lasts for a really long time, and when it goes down then i need to use epilator again cause my hair grows, and it happens again. So im happy that i can i remove hair but i dont know what to do to stop the redness and pimples. Do you have any advices?

I used a “normal” epilator on my face too and got bad breakouts :( shaving is super rough on my skin and hair grows back after a day, waxing breaks me out (plus is misses hair), maybe I will buy this, thank you for the review ! Have a nice day (I’ve also tried threading but I can’t get the hang of it and I tried tweezing but after half an hour there was still so much hair. I liked the epilator the most because it removed ALL the hair) .

Hello, i just came across this video and thank you so much for your honest review! I just wanted to ask a few queries, please do help me out. I have really thick and dark facial hair on my upperlips, chin, neck and sides (even on the jawline). Initially i used to use depilating creams, but switched to threading soon after. But its really coarse and i have to go to the parlour every 3 days. It feels uncomfortable to have prickly growth on my face, because im just 20 and sometimes people also comment that "hey is that a beard/mustache?". So i wouldn't really want to wait till the hair grows much, to get it replucked again. Please do suggest what should i opt for.

Hey I'm sorry you're going through that! Have you tried an epilator like in this video? I feel like that might be a good option cause you can just do it at home. I used to get my moustache/chin hairs waxed at the mall but it was too expensive!

Hey Rajeshwari,I myself am dealing with the same issue due to hormonal fluctuations. I totally understand the hassles of always running into a parlour. And on top of that their stupid and silly questions on body hair. I would highly suggest once you get a full body check up done. And yes if possible, you can opt for laser treatment. Meanwhile you can try epilator and also learn threading by yourself. I hope we get through this together. Lots of love ❤️

Waxing or epilating is better for dark skin rather than shaving because shaving can cause strawberry legs especially to darker haired people. If your parent don't want to pay laser removal try waxing or an epilator and when you grow older and make your own money definetly laser is the best option for you (if you want to remove hair around your nipple twiz them don't epilate or wax around the nipple)

Hey - your English is perfect!! Hair everywhere is normal!! I have it on my stomach, cheeks, nips, legs, lower back, everywhere! I would really say don't worry about it, but I struggle, too! I like to use a body epilator on my body, and a face epilator on my face. But I also remember to occasionally grow it out so I can see appreciate my body and give it a break! @@caesdc Hey, I’m so sorry you feel that way. I understand the feeling. I hate being being near people without my mask, because at least with clothes I can hide my body hair.
I would definitely talk to your parents so they can let you know what they are okay with you using on your body.
Waxing and tweezing are the most effective. Shaving is fast, but the hair grows back quickly and may even feel thicker.
Keep being patient with yourself and remember that you are on a journey learning how to work with your body, not fighting against it.
      Much love to you, honey.

Thanks for your comment! I've had mine for at least 6 months now, and so far the battery seems fine. I've replaced it once and use it about weekly. Next time I'm going to put a rechargeable battery in it.
I get a few coarse chin and moustache hairs, and although it sometimes takes a few passes, it will eventually get them. If you have a bunch of coarse hairs in a small area, it might be a better idea to get something a bit more powerful. The head is so tiny... it would take forever to get all the hair!

I bought it 2months ago. At first I didn't know how to use it properly so kinda messed up also it was a total mess before using it coz being a girl I had thick mustache I used so many things like facial razor and all, the condition worsened, threading didn't help also I had to go to the parlour after every 2days and it was in a horrible situation . After I learnt how to use an epilator I'm totally amazed. Not I don't need parlour for my upper lip and very satisfied with the result. And girlsss No Pain No Gain 😉

@@cheekymouse4 I agree, i used it during one or 2 month, and the hairs grow so slowly, that during days you don't need to make epilation at all and your skin is smooth. When you use for first time, it wouldn't make results during around 2 weeks, but after it would start to work (maybe time your skin adapt to the products) for once. But if you stop the treatment, hairs starts to grow again at the normal rythm. The product is very great, but very expensive, saddly

    • @platinumcross4720

Epilators don't "shave", they pull the hair from the root, which means it takes about 1-2 weeks more than usual for the hair to grow back. (And actually it is often said that the hairs don't grow back as often or as thick as before, which would increase the time between epilating!)

Hey trans girl here I am so sick of shaving everyday I was wondering if this was a good alternative

Unfortunately they do NOT recommend it on the info sheet. Depending on your hair type, you may need a slightly more powerful epilator (with more tweezer heads and a stronger motor). Let us know how it worked if you try it!

Do you need to clean it after each use?

    • @CorrieV

Up to you! Some people break out easily so maybe they clean it after each use. For me, I usually use it once a month and clean it maybe twice a year?
