      Saw a new Toyota Taco and *WAY* too big and *FLIMSY* thought the sheet metal would fly off on a windy day was so thin and poorly designed and unreinforced. This is not saying buy a Ford Ranger *ESPECIALLY AT THIS RIDICULOUS PRICE.* verdict: wait on the 2025 *NISSAN*

    When the Ranger TREMOR first came out in 2021 I found a Velocity Blue one state over in Idaho and traded in my Focus RS for it. Our Ranger is a Lariat TREMOR and it's great. My wife and I have been very happy with it. I play with it in the desert as well as weekly trips up to Lake Tahoe (30 minutes from the house to launch them at Sand Harbor) and up to where I work at a Ski Resort 6 months out of the year. It is even good on road trips to New Mexico and more. I like the new Ranger very much with the all the new adds to it and the upgraded interior. The Raptor is great with the one lone exception of how much it can tow which leads me back to the TREMOR which can tow 2000 lbs more. If a TREMOR is anything like the Wildtrack X overseas I would get it. One thing the Raptor has that the other Rangers do not is AWD optional setting which is great for all the driving in snow that I do. BTW the reason for no side steps on the RR is because of the exhaust routing. A Gen 6 TREMOR 2.7 with 2H-4H-4L and AWD would be great along with the Lariat trim. Otherwise I would keep my 2021 TREMOR or get a Raptor and smaller camper. Thanks for the site, it's great!

      Same for me, a '21 Lariat Tremor, which has been just great! In looking at Fords Aussie site, you can barely see in the interior shots a "4A" on the dial, so hoping they include it in the Tremor pkg, along with vents in the center rear console, like the global market. We like AC in the back in North America too, Ford!

    I was going to order an XLT with the 2.7...... But i'll wait for the Tremor
    I want the Auto 4x4 and the vinyl flooring and seats.
    That 4A option is a necessity when my roads are half ice in the winters.

    Would like Ford to bring the Tremor here to the states especially if it comes with the front locker and at a good price. Though I hope they start making all Rangers with the J brace installed in the bed from the factory.

    I have a 21 Tremor and love it . Waiting for hopefully the 25 . 2.7 with a dual exhaust would be perfection. Mine is iconic silver with graphics package . Even though the truck is over 3 yrs old , people stop me about the truck .

    I’ve been researching Rangers for a couple of months with plans to buy one soon. I’ve been trying to justify the step from an XLT to a Raptor. This seems to be exactly what I want. Just hoping to see an option for vented/cooled seats for 2025. Thanks for such a great vid. Subscribed.

      @AllTerrainNation  หลายเดือนก่อน

      The Raptors current price is a steal vs any of the competition. I do agree that cooking seats should have been in the pick up truck. I feel like Ford was trying to keep the costs down on the Raptor but this was an oversight. Thank you for the comment and sub - Dave

    Yes, we will get a Ranger Tremor and it will be almost, but not exactly, identical to the old Ranger Tremor in terms of equipment.
    That equipment included Trail Control, Terrain Management, rear locker, 2.0 Fox shocks, 32" General Grabbers, the off road information components in the info screens and the 6 upfitter switches. As well as the skids included with the FX4 package. Including front skid, engine and transfer case as well as fuel tank "guards" as Ford calls them. The current FX4 come with Drive modes, Trail control, the same off road info screen, improved shocks and locking rear diff. It also comes with 31" tires but true 31" tires, not tires rounded up from 30.6" like so many other trucks. The Aussie Tremor is wearing 285/70/17 tires so that's what we here in the States would say are 33" tires so an upgrade over the 32" of the former Ranger Tremor. The new Australian version also gets the full time 4WD mode that wasn't available on the last gen Ranger Tremor.
    Spec'd with the 2.7 liter, the XLT high package, spray in bed liner, advanced tow and a couple of other goodies a new XLT crew cab with the FX4 package comes in at $47,520. If a Tremor package truck needed all those upgrades then it'd be treading on the heels of the Raptor price wise without the maximum capability off road. Leaving just greater towing capacity and a little better payload as it's calling card. But if Ford included many of those higher end features for around 48 to 50 thousand then there really would not be a need for ninety nine and a half percent of people to buy the Raptor other than to say they have a Raptor. Because capability wise what the Raptor can do significantly better isn't what most people even have the terrain available to do. From a reality perspective a mid-line spec'd XLT with just the FX4 and towing packages will get pretty much everyone to where they will really go (Home Depot, Wal-Mart and the vacation cabin) For roughly $44,280. And it is very off road capable for real world uses, not play area stuff most first owners would never even think of doing. The Tremor steps up the game a notch off road performance wise but not dramatically so it would likely take some included extra features for the money to be viable.
    The new Tremor will likely have the XLT high package standard. Advanced towing standard, spray in bedliner standard, full time 4wd standard, the 2.7 liter V6 standard as well as the 33" inch tires and slight lift while retaining the off road electronics and upgraded suspension it already had. All this for 50K or less and Ford has a hit. Ford isn't going to do more than that and step on the Raptors toes just like they don't go too far with the F-150 Tremor. Coil springs are for Raptors. High output V6's are for $100,000 F-150s and Raptors. 10 inches of wheel travel on a mid size is for Raptors. They have to keep some things exclusive or the Raptor is no longer unique and therefore no longer special.

    Ford Ranger 2.7 is already exhausted for 2024, and rumors are swirling about no 2.7 in the 2025 Bronco, so I am not sure we are going to see any 2.7s coming out of MAP in 2025. We shall see.

      @@AllTerrainNation it's not a goofy B6G rumor if it is true. The rumor came from someone you know that works at a Canadian Ford dealership. The fact that Tim also reported that F-150 is constrained with regard to the 2.7 isn't a rumor. If any platform has priority for 2.7 production, it's the F-150.

    Toyota has just blown itself up with the two worst engines and powertrains ever launched in modern post World War 2 vehicle History...not easy to do that actually. Ford now has the best selling vehicle in North America and soon the World in the Ford Maverick and right behind that will be the best selling truck Badge in the World *"Ranger."* Ford nameplate looking stellar at the moment actually unlike the Stellantis disaster that at least can say *"but we're not Toyota!"* never thought I would ever say that about Toyota First to worst long $f Ford Motor Company strong buy long $hmc Honda Motor Corporation strong buy. Great Year to be manufacturing 4 wheels and a steering wheel...unless you're Toyota and Ford Motor Company certainly is not that. Long way to go before Ford can compete toe to toe with Honda tho which remains by far the most dominant manufacturer of Motorcycles ever in Human History. Ford can't even make a scooter let alone a Motorcycle. Long Garmin strong buy as Honda makes passenger jet aircraft and is doing a better job at that than even $ba Boeing. Not sure what GM is doing going on 20 Years now. Chrysler looks to be for sale maybe Bill Ford could buy that.😮😮😮😮
