We bought a 2002 ES300, as a certified used vehicle in 2004 with 31K miles. Same color scheme as Scotty's wife's car. Just coming up on 139K miles. Still looks and runs great. As long as it doesn't get in an accident, we'll be driving it many more years. Merry Christmas everybody.
I’m 72 yo and last year I bought my last car, a 2021 Lexus GX 460 w/ 28k miles. 18 months later it has 38k miles and the power train warranty expires in Jan 2027. I change the oil every 6 months and I just changed the cabin and engine air filters last week. The GX is perfect. There’s no reason to take it to the local dealer. I paid $44k in June 2023 for a loaded up GX with an Original MSRP of $59,850 including 2nd row Captains Chairs, Tow Pkg, etc. it’s still worth $40k wholesale to CarMax or Carvana. Because many people would rather have the V8 over the new Turbo V6 I think it will continue to hold its value. I’ve bought a few dozen or more new cars in my lifetime but never again.
Scotty im from Europe and where i live it don't matter what make or model we change our timing chains at pretty much every 100-120k km. The risk is often not worth the reward. The vehicles with a timing belt we see them as a godsend because the whole process of changing the belt is 2-3 (or more) times cheaper compared to the timing chain. So yeah Honda may not be among the most popular manufacturers but the vehicles with a timing belt where one can attach an LPG system are seen as infinitely superior.
Just bought a new 2025 es 350 with the V6 while I still could. Retirement vehicle for taking road trips at high freeway speed. Last vehicle for me but it should be perfect in this role.
I own the exact same Lexus es350 it's a 2008 with the six disc cd changer it's red and cashmere tan leather and it's got 183,000 miles on it and I use amsoil fully synthetic oil and the original oil filter I get from Walmart and it runs so smooth and quiet !!!!
Those model years have an OIL LEAK problem from a faulty manufactured gasket and the only way to fix it is to remove the engine. Oil stop fluids wont work. Other than that...good car.
Sure you're not talking about the Gallery gasket on the Infinities? Known problem with the Lexus GR-FE engines is the VVTI oil line with a rubber section that can leak all your oil.
I have an 08 Avalon with about 130k. It has same 2gr-fe engine. Gotta check the VVTI oil lines on those and get an all metal one installed. My fav car next to my daughter's 2011 ES350. Same engine there too. Both are awesome!
I bought the same car as a second vehicle. One we can tool around in and don’t have to worry about door dings or scratches (the paint isn’t as nice as your example, here). At 175,000 miles, my daughter in law started driving it as her primary car. With some TLC and routine maintenance, I bet it goes another 100,000 without major problems. It still drives like a much newer car… straight and smooth.
Greetings from germany. I don't get it. Why are the US cars and cars made for US market so low in quality? Here we get a waranty from bumper to bumper for the cars. Combustion: Subaru gives 5 years, Toyota gives 5 years, Hyundai / Kia give 7 years. Hybrid: 5 years for combustion parts, 7-8 years for battery. EV: LEXUS 7 years on chassis and rust, 10 years for battery. Hyundai / Kia 7-8 years on Battery. TESLA and all german brands 2 years on everything. Usually we don't neet waranty, but when we need them, they repair it. After 2 repairs on the same thing without positive result, you get another car. When yours already has high number on the odo, you get another used, but condition as new. Polished and fully cleaned interior. And i think, this is ok, cause when you have 90 000 on the odo, a complete new car would be a little to much. The only quality problems we have are TESLA, no matter where it's build. (the worst come from US), and german brands, with VW as the leader on the failure list. (VW and their sub brands). The most ridiculous thing is Mercedes, who sells the G-WAGON (that boxy thing) without a proper anti-rust on it. We have 4 year old Gs that have rust bubbles everywhere under the paint. And that is a car for 105 000 € base price. 105k and they don't have 40 bucks for a rust paint from a DIY shop. I have painted the frame of my old motorcycle with those kind of paint, and that thing was outside in winter. 10 years in the cold, That paint holds. But now, you saying, that the japanese cars, that have the best quality worldwide, have massive problems in US? Toyota Hilux and Land Cruiser are first choice on 5 continents, cause they are invinceable. But not in the US. I don't get this.
Maybe it's the pride people have in their work. I think it's a cultural thing. In the US, we're lazy and most people only work a job just for the money and take no pride in their performance. In other countries like Japan, people have pride in work.
@@rainbowsquash673 There is another problem. German manufacturers have factories in east europe. VW, AUDI, BMW and Mercedes produce their base models in Hungury and Romania. Then the cars will be shipped to germany, they throw the manual in the glovebox, and it's MADE IN GERMANY! We have some factories here. But here they build their premium models. Which don't really make a difference, cause VW for example uses the same crap parts. So in short, i have to pay 32 000 € for a base Golf / Rabbit mk8, which is produced in east europe, by workers, that earn 1/3 compared to germany. For 32k i can get a Toyota Corolla hybrid with full features, made in Spain and has proper anti-rust paint, top quality, lower fuel consumption, cheaper insurrance and better service. Japanese brands have factories here, cause the number of import cars is restricted. This usually is no problem, cause parts aren't restricted, so they transport the parts loose, and put them together here on EU ground. There are some countries, you don't buy cars from. Italy, France, UK (not in EU anymore), and countries arround romania. Even Turkey (Europe part - Is not in EU, but we want their stuff) is a country with high qualified people, high quality products. The only problem with Turkey is, the asian part of the country is different. They are not so high in quality, and Erdogan is a difficult and unconfortable person. Noone likes him or even want to be in the same room. Kinda like Trump, without all that foreign money. Honestly, with our polititians it's bad too. We have election next february, and 4 parties have a candidat for next chancelor. And all 4 of them are so bad, they only have their follower group. This could be a very hard election. Choosing 1 of 4 apocalypic Suitmen.
My 2016 ES350 is nice, there's a "ticking" noise under the hood. Right side. Someone told me it might be a belt tensioner. Anyway, here in LA I have a trusted mechanic, and will get the oil changed too. BTW, 2016 this Lexus built in Tennessee. Good paint. And my doors sound solid when closing. Like my 1992 SC400.
To anyone who read my comment this is what I’ll say my dad was going to get his degree in mechanical engineering and what not and don’t know how to maintain vehicles and he had a rough life and he’s learned and he’s a kind loving man . Point is my dad he has a 2008 Subaru legacy sedan model it’s supposed to be luxury sport vehicle and we have nearly 300,000 miles in and we live in Pennsylvania secondly we have replace the rotors we replace the timing belt replaced the CV axles the the brakes then we also have put in oil we’ve done the oil change he’s mostly done all this and I’ve only helped her in there and I’m still learning we have pretty much my dad has really replaced so much stuff into this vehicle and the reason why we don’t have another vehicle is because everything cost so much more and that’s because everyone has taken advantage of everything
Merry Christmas from England. A couple months ago I bought a 2007 GS300 V6 for £4000 with.....56,000miles. Really like It. I was thinking that this must already by a Classic car. Totally agree with Scotty, they are not gonna build 'em like that anymore.
The really bad thing about the Toyota V-6 engines that are FWD is that you have to take off most of the intake manifold to change the rear spark plugs. It's not a really big job but it can be somewhat of an aggravation.
I bought 2008 es350 with 135k for $2000. Had some bumper damage, broken headlight, cracked radiator and needed a battery. Repaired everything myself with parts from eBay for about $400. Now I have a great car. Hopefully it lasts forever
Got a tire pressure gauge for my sister the other day at a 7 eleven store. For $2.14. Incl tax. Goes to 100 lbs. she has a F350 ford 4x4 diesel, truck.
Bottom line the Japanese excellent made Vehicles as well as one owner or if they're taken care of all the maintenance as required on time especially engine oil changes and transmission oil change and flushes the newer Hi-Tech synthetic oils out especially the Valvoline clean and protect is the best oil on the market that will clean the inside of your engine throughout, also the motorkote spelled with a K has some of the best oil additive for your engine transmission transfer case rear differential which will put a thin film of super slick lubricant that's permanent and this film is even as good or better than a pre ignition oil system Scotty I know you have a lot of reviews to read through and a lot of different things to test but these are two items I think would be particularly in the best interest of yourself and other customers can you try and test the Valvoline restoring protect on your wife's car and the motorkote spelled with a k
Mine's an '07 ES 350 and has thrown #3 misfire codes coupled with weird overheating issues every few months since I bought it at 130k four years ago. I just wish she'd be a normal Lexus. She stresses me out so bad.
My tire shop only charges $50 per tire to install a new TPMS. He uses the Autel parts, but they work just fine on these. The TPMS light always annoys me, so it's something I like to fix.
I don't like the push button start and 2 catalytic converters, but low tech compared to crazy electronics on the new stuff that will cost a fortune to maintain. If you can find someone who knows how to fix your new turbos and hybrids with all of the other crap on them that will break
Question for you, Scotty: I have a 2018 F-150 that I was planning on selling this spring. I recently saw that you made a video talking about the auto-market crash coming. Do you think it's better to sell now as opposed to waiting? Also, do you think the price of trucks will come down? I need at least a 2500. Thanks!
Like watching lots of good information was wondering what you think of the CVT transmission are there problems with it and what causes the problem thanks from the Philippines 🇵🇭
2010-2012 models is the way to go for this generation as most of the issues were ironed out. Aside from the poor safety ratings, they are solid and reliable cars.
Keeping my 2013 Scion IQ until it can’t move 😂😂 new cars aren’t made to survive 80k miles while my old Scion is pushing fine at 88k miles without issues
Bought college bound daughter 2011 es350 with 110k in (in 2020 during Cvid). Everything like new and ran great. Didn't scan test it bec bought on spot (no scanner). Was during Cvid and I had to work while everybody else took the govmnt money and beat me to the deals. I figured what could possibly go wrong with this awesome running highly reputable Lexus? Started getting misfires maybe 1 month in. Ran all the tests then scoped the cylinder and found a cracked valve. No idea why, but found out that the year before that one was made, there was a problem with the valve springs. Immediately replaced the engine. Was a sad thing. No car is perfect and there are always variances ... even a Lexus. Cost me much more than I was ready to pay but I LOOOOOOVE this car!!!! It's a tank! Other problem is the VVTI oil line. Has rubber part in middle that can explode and kill your engine. Just replace it and all good.
Scotty, I wish you would quit bad mouthing the tire pressure monitoring system. True, on an old car, most people wouldn't bother with it. My wife isn't the greatest driver and she likes to make sharp turns and scrape the rims on the curbs. The gutter by the curb is also where all the screws and nails end up. I have to put plugs in the tires at least four or five times a year. Here in Michigan, it's easier to press a button on my dash and see all the tire pressures, rather than go around the car with a pressure gauge when it's ten degrees outside. And as a former mechanic myself, I like everything to be working on my vehicles anyway. Yes, I paid $200 to have new sensors installed in my wife's 2016 Traverse. Well worth it in my book. The Traverse is still in pretty nice shape and we plan on keeping it as long as possible since the car manufactures have lost their minds with the prices of new cars.
They are selling a 2014 Lexus ES350 with 44 thousand miles. Oh and its made in Japan but they want 25 grand. What do you think SCOTTY is it to much its a beautiful car thou
I had a 2007 lexus es350 and at around 145k the head gasket blew ☠️These cars are bad for that. Besides that I loved the looks of the car and how it ran
Nice video. So my question now is what luxury suv should i look at this spring 2025 if all the lexus suvs are the turbo engines? Seems like everyone is going this route now so what is consumer supposed to do?
Can look for 2022 model year and below of the RX 350 which has the V6 engine or the GX 460 also I believe has the Naturally Aspirated V8 engine thats 2022 and below. Not sure if the 2023 model is a V8. There’s also the Acura MDX in which the newer ones still use a V6.
I have the exact same car, but mine is a 2007. I owned it for 11 years and it has 381,000 kms. Mine gets around 29 - 31 mpg on the highway. Best car I have ever owned.
Too bad my elderly neighbors do not drive cars like this, nor available to sell to me. They all are addicted to Dodge products, one neighbor has 5 Dodge Rams all parked in front of his house.
3 1/2 years ago I bought a one owner 2002 ES300 w 161k miles. Still have it now with 186k miles. Best car I’ve ever owned. Had new struts installed after buying it and also some replacement OEM parts, starter, alternator, exhaust flex pipe. Earlier this year did a timing belt and water pump replacement. Now with recently installed Michelin Defender 2 tires it rides like a champ. Super quiet, fit and finish is amazing. Every button and switch still works like new nothing is broken. 1MZ-FE engine will last well over 300k miles if maintained properly. Merry Christmas
You barley even use the car tho, that’s on average 16 miles a day. Even a ford fusion won’t break down with that minimal use. I bought a ram at 68k miles last year and I’m already at 91k miles, zero issues highly recommended truck.
I have a 2000 toyota camry and the engine starts but i have to slam the hood hard near the drivers side of the windsheild for the dash, ac, and radio to turn on. Xan anyone help me out
I had a LS460 and it was awful. It broke down all the time. I thought being a 4.6 v8 like tundra it would be reliable, boy was I wrong. Lots of cooling system problems. The cooling system was failing like dominoes. Interior was soft a sticky, rear suspension was clunky. Had 135,000 miles on it when I got rid of it. The car had all the service records and was meticulously maintained at the dealership.
Wait until you drive a 2025 crown signia bearing the crap out of what Lexus is making now they are not doing as well as they used to. Only thing they are making correctly now is the ES sedan I’m just waiting until they screw that one up.
I had an 07 Lexus LS 460. Solid V8 engine with the smoothest 8 speed automatic tranny. With 381 hp it could boogie when you wanted it to even considering it weighed 4300 pounds. Best car I ever owned.
Scott is insane about cars. One day he said lexus is best car to buy, the next say he said it is sad for lexus owners. He does not know cars since these cars have the same engine and tranny. Sorry scott.
I have a 2002 Solara SE, V6 with 297,000 miles. Transmission is starting acting up last week, trying to get to 300,000 miles before making a decision on it.
lol Scotty done made 50 videos about the same engine , different car … get ya money Scotty … venza,rx350, es 350, highlander , rav 4 v6, all got the same engine and I’m missing 100 other cars with the same 2gr-fe engine
$7.5K is to much for that. Starting would have to be somewhere real close to $3K for me to even care. MPG doesn't play a part when I'm going to look at a vehicle, I just don't care.
I would buy that Lexus for that price in a heartbeat. If you could get that for $3K the owner would have to be brain dead. You couldn’t even get an ‘09 Camry with 150K miles for $3K.
Then don't care. Your Mopar icon says it all. A typical Fiat/Chrysler product is worn out at 50k. 😂 A Lexus ES is just getting broken in at 100k. That's the difference.
@@johnjones393 exactly, if it doesn’t have frame rust that thing could give me 20 years of service. I’m looking for something like that right now because I don’t want to be forced into this turbo nonsense before I absolutely have to.
@@johnjones393 It does say it all, I have the abilities to keep any vehicle road worthy even a Mopar. 250K on that 99 Ram and it runs and drives like a top. Can you even put in fuel with out needing help? Oil and filter changes at Jiffy Lube? Walmart?
I have a 2009es special edition with 130,000 miles. I bought it a year ago and the car is incredible. I did replace the front seat covers with after market leather, and they look better than original. I wanted a 2013 460 ls till I researched the cost of maintaining it and thought the es would be more practical and reliable. My es is made in Japan and with good maintenance will last me for years! I wonder if my 2015 350rx with 45,000 miles will last as long as the 2009es?
From 2010 and on the ES can run on regular fuel. My 2011 ES runs perfectly on it. The trade off is slightly lower HP, but the car is still plenty quick enough for what it is. What I find interesting about the Avalon vs ES is the Avalon has some extra features that the ES does not, such as rear reclining seats.
@@johnjones393 Yeah my 2012 avalon has the reclining rear seats. Dropped in 2013. But Lexus has the power steering wheel. At least my friend's 2008 does. Plus his 2008 has the collision avoidance system option and I couldn't find it in an avalon. I got used to looking for that in pictures of cars with the sensor circles in the front and back bumpers and the dash cluster of switches to the left and lower from the steering wheel. My avalon has the rear sun shade while my friend's lexus doesn't. Mine has the turn signal lights on the side mirrors and puddle lights facing down. Oil and filter is the same for Lexus Es and Avalon.
Merry Christmas!

Yeah that means you either don't drive much at all or you have multiple vehicles to have that amount of mileage.
3 1/2 years ago I bought a one owner 2002 ES300 w 161k miles. Still have it now with 186k miles. Best car I’ve ever owned.
I have a 2011 model and I like that I can use regular gas instead of premium and in 2 years I’ve put 40,000 miles and I love it nothing wrong yet
Scotty acting like he actually bought a new vehicle before
He’s rented them and giving his professional mechanic opinion, he thinks older cars are better
Not for him but for his family
Scotty's a mess. 😄
Scotty I found a 2003 Lexus ES 300 should I buy it ? Is it like your wife’s Lexus ?❤
He actually did. He bought a mustang GT500 and a Lexus coupe before
I have a 2010 lexus es350 and I was able to get 33 MPG on highway going 65 MPH. I love this car
Cool. I never got that high in my 2011 ES but I can't keep my foot out of it either. 😂
I had a car where I got 30 gallons per mile! 😂
I got 38 MPG going 60 MPH on my 2011
I’m 72 yo and last year I bought my last car, a 2021 Lexus GX 460 w/ 28k miles.
It's hard to beat a GX. Phenomenal vehicle.
Agree .. have a 97 Toyota sedan..4 cylinder. One belt,one bearing belt tensioner..simple.
Merry Christmas Scotty! I like the 2022-24 Lexus ES 350s, amazing sedans!
Our 06 Avalon still chugs with 180k. Only problem is the suspension cuz my family drives like it’s stolen.
😂😂😂😂😅😂😂😂😅😅😅
I have an 08 Avalon with about 130k. It has same 2gr-fe engine. Gotta check the VVTI oil lines on those and get an all metal one installed. My fav car next to my daughter's 2011 ES350. Same engine there too. Both are awesome!
Use to own an 08 model. I got between 28-30 mpg on the freeway. Sold it due to no longer have use of it.
I had the same on. One of the best cars ever
You never bought any new Lexus or any new car for that matter 😂
I'm dead 💀👀
Because he knows buying a car brand new these days is a braindead action
I thought he bought his wife a Lexus NX. Yea? No?
That perfume smell wouldn't bother me at all lol. I love the way good perfume smells on a woman. 🤣 Merry Christmas to all.
1. There are few craftsmen left on the line.
2. Money, money, money.
Even in germany german cars are not as good as japanese because of the cheap recycled plastic by law, you simply don't drive them very long
@@rainbowsquash673 There is another problem.
Merry Christmas, everyone!
Marry Christmas and have a great New Year everyone
Merry Christmas 🎁⛄ Scotty
Miss my es300
Absolutely love my 2012 ES350, getting 26.5 mpg, best car I have ever owned, 151k on the clock and going strong.
Rubber vacuum lines over time dry and leak thru the rubber, don't have to be cracked to be porous enough to leak. I found that out on my Toyota's.
Got a tire pressure gauge for my sister the other day at a 7 eleven store. For $2.14. Incl tax. Goes to 100 lbs. she has a F350 ford 4x4 diesel, truck.
HoHoHo, Scotty! Have a 'Happy Holidays' and a Great New Year!
Bottom line the Japanese excellent made Vehicles as well as one owner or if they're taken care of all the maintenance as required on time especially engine oil changes and transmission oil change and flushes the newer Hi-Tech synthetic oils out especially the Valvoline clean and protect is the best oil on the market that will clean the inside of your engine throughout, also the motorkote spelled with a K has some of the best oil additive for your engine transmission transfer case rear differential which will put a thin film of super slick lubricant that's permanent and this film is even as good or better than a pre ignition oil system
Scotty I know you have a lot of reviews to read through and a lot of different things to test but these are two items I think would be particularly in the best interest of yourself and other customers can you try and test the Valvoline restoring protect on your wife's car and the motorkote spelled with a k
I just bought an 08 LS460 with 277k. Smoothest running car I’ve ever had. Amazing vehicle
Mine's an '07 ES 350 and has thrown #3 misfire codes coupled with weird overheating issues every few months since I bought it at 130k four years ago. I just wish she'd be a normal Lexus. She stresses me out so bad.
Just watch out for the the motor plate under the intake for antifreeze leaking
Scotty goes in on the Honda rubber timing belt. He is not a fan and will let you know it even if he's not talking about a Honda 🤦🏽♂️🤣
I just got a new IS500. It’s awesome!
Rest in peace, Scotty.
May he have a lexus where ever the universe takes him
I'm actually looking to buy exact model.... thanks Scotty
I've seen these get 26/28 mpg on the highway. He doesn't know what he's talking about with that.
Yeah, he just pulled that number out of his .....
You must be a senior citizen
@@WastedDad and you must really hate yourself. Dude, I'm 39 years old. Project to someone who cares.
one time I got 38 mpg doing 60
My tire shop only charges $50 per tire to install a new TPMS. He uses the Autel parts, but they work just fine on these. The TPMS light always annoys me, so it's something I like to fix.
I don't like the push button start and 2 catalytic converters, but low tech compared to crazy electronics on the new stuff that will cost a fortune to maintain. If you can find someone who knows how to fix your new turbos and hybrids with all of the other crap on them that will break
What are the best years Scotty ?? Nice video too. Peace vf
Thanks!
No way that thing only gets 22 on the highway. My mom's 2016 Sienna gets 28 doing 75 mph with all 5 of us and our luggage.
I miss my lexus gs300
5:21 Speak it don't spit it Scotty!!!!!!!!!!
Merry Christmas Scotty!
Like watching lots of good information was wondering what you think of the CVT transmission are there problems with it and what causes the problem thanks from the Philippines 🇵🇭
He does not like CVT transmissions. Search CVT on his channel.
2010-2012 models is the way to go for this generation as most of the issues were ironed out. Aside from the poor safety ratings, they are solid and reliable cars.
The best solution for fuel economy is the manual transmission, not the ugly turbo charger.
Infinti g35 great car for a great price right now
Keeping my 2013 Scion IQ until it can’t move 😂😂 new cars aren’t made to survive 80k miles while my old Scion is pushing fine at 88k miles without issues
Scotty Merry Christmas from British Columbia Canada, the 51st State .🇺🇸🇨🇦
Bought college bound daughter 2011 es350 with 110k in (in 2020 during Cvid).
That's a very beautiful Lexus, it looks showroom new
Scotty, I wish you would quit bad mouthing the tire pressure monitoring system. The Traverse is still in pretty nice shape and we plan on keeping it as long as possible since the car manufactures have lost their minds with the prices of new cars.
cool story bro
Good to hear the seller sold it to your friend and not a dealer to flip.
Merry Christmas
Damn, im supposed to be getting an is250 in a day or two
They are selling a 2014 Lexus ES350 with 44 thousand miles. Oh and its made in Japan but they want 25 grand. What do you think SCOTTY is it to much its a beautiful car thou
I put premium in my 2010 ES & it gets 34 mpg on the highway.
I had a 2007 lexus es350 and at around 145k the head gasket blew ☠️These cars are bad for that. Besides that I loved the looks of the car and how it ran
What was it doing before that happened? I have the same year w/143k and it's driven me insane for the 4 years I've had it.
We won't have these take off videos once them houses are built
I have the exact same car, but mine is a 2007. I owned it for 11 years and it has 381,000 kms. Mine gets around 29 - 31 mpg on the highway. Best car I have ever owned.
Mine's an '07 w/140k and loves throwing #3 misfire coupled with weird overheating issues every few months for the four years I've owned it. Stressful.
AI Scotty does it again
Merry Christmas! 🎄
RIP is one of the “Off” brothers.😂 the other brother is named “GET OFF “ and some other names I don’t want to mention in mixed company. 😂
Too bad my elderly neighbors do not drive cars like this, nor available to sell to me.
They all are addicted to Dodge products, one neighbor has 5 Dodge Rams all parked in front of his house.
Hey merry RIP to everyone and to all a good Toyota reliability night!
Scotty I don't know why you say that because you've never bought a new Lexus you bought yours used off of a dead dude
Merry Christmas!
🎄Merry Christmas USA 🎅👍
Honda is going to be the new king Scotty. Toyota is DONE
Merry Christmas to you and your family Scotty!!
Wait until you drive a 2025 crown signia bearing the crap out of what Lexus is making now they are not doing as well as they used to. Only thing they are making correctly now is the ES sedan I’m just waiting until they screw that one up.
Merry Christmas Scotty from Houston.🎄🎄🎄
Merry Christmas Scotty
I had an 07 Lexus LS 460. Solid V8 engine with the smoothest 8 speed automatic tranny. With 381 hp it could boogie when you wanted it to even considering it weighed 4300 pounds. Best car I ever owned.
🎄 Merry Christmas Scotty.
I miss the old way!
Merry Christmas scotty
Almost thought it was a sad day for Scotty Kilmer viewers 🥺
Scott is insane about cars. One day he said lexus is best car to buy, the next say he said it is sad for lexus owners. He does not know cars since these cars have the same engine and tranny. Sorry scott.
Insert gif of lexus with a bow on it 🎀🎁🤣🤣
I like the Lexus window roll up, man that thing sounds pressurized damn near.....Satisfied 2017 Lexus LX 570 owner...
The honda 4 cyl has a chain.
Yes they do, but the J-series V6 still runs a belt.
I drive a 2000 Toyota Solara SE 224 miles! What do you think about Solara?
I have a 2002 Solara SE, V6 with 297,000 miles.
Transmission is starting acting up last week, trying to get to 300,000 miles before making a decision on it.

It's just a Camry Coupe.
Keep it.

I did a knock sensor job on that car a few weeks ago... Easy job...

So why is it a sad day?
I have a 2009es special edition with 130,000 miles. I bought it a year ago and the car is incredible. I did replace the front seat covers with after market leather, and they look better than original. I wanted a 2013 460 ls till I researched the cost of maintaining it and thought the es would be more practical and reliable. My es is made in Japan and with good maintenance will last me for years! I wonder if my 2015 350rx with 45,000 miles will last as long as the 2009es?
Those 350ES require premium fuel. The same years of Avalons don't. Yet Avalon is rated higher horsepower and quicker acceleration.
I'm pretty sure I recall Scotty saying they didn't
