      As far as the tva. I think it's safe to assume each multiverse has its own tva now. And loki is in Kang the Conquerer's tva. Hopefully we see more fun differences than just statue changes. Maybe a Mr. Minutes and less rose gold colors lol.

      This is correct. It begins to split before Sylvie stabs He Who Remains - So when Loki is pushed through the Time Door, the possibility of him landing in an alternate TVA is there. Plus I believe He Who Remains may have tampered with his KANG WATCH prior to Sylvie grabbing it. See you soon :)

    To understand where Loki went at the end you have to understand there is NO time-travel in the MCU, only Universe-hopping. Thing is, 1) Some Universes are younger than others & 2) There are infinite universes so there are many that are VERY similar w/ maybe a few minor differences. This is why in the MCU you can travel to the "past" and change things but not mess up the present you came from, because you're not actually in your past you're in another Universe that is both younger & nearly identical to the one you just left so from your perspective it would seem like you just went back in time. (This also explains how He Who Remains created the "Sacred Timeline"; essentially all he was doing was pruning Universes that differed to much from the one that created him thus leading to the creation of a Kang instead. He had compressed the Multiverse down to only like-Universes, and now it's spiraling outwards again as is the natural order of things.)
    So when Sylvie push Loki through the portal at the end she sent him to another Universe where Kang rules the TVA directly, which from our perspective would seem like the same "timeline" only with one MAJOR difference.

    • @willgrub
      @willgrub 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That would make sense but Steve going back in time to return the stones and then staying in the past with Peggy and living a full life and meeting Sam as an old man goes against that. Steve being there means he did go back in time and lived a life in the same universe as the movies. I think your logic makes more sense but they kinda fucked up the rules in endgame and it’s gonna suffer for it

  • @Alex_Logan22
    @Alex_Logan22 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I mean, one could easily argue Silvie to be the bigger villain than the TVA, He Who Remains was just doing what had to be done and got tired. Ranking villains gets muddied when shows like WandaVision and Loki are all about breaking those kind of conventions/labels. It’s not like Thanos/Magneto who THINK they’re doing a good thing, this variant Kang legit was doing a good thing (and he wasn’t really controlling people’s fates either, that’s a misconception as everyone already played out their free wills) despite the consequences, Wanda was unaware of the damage she was causing in her depression and reversed course when she did, etc. Silvie however served only herself and not others despite consequences, for compelling/understandable reasons, but was still wrong and knew she was wrong, being too afraid to enchant Kang cause she didn’t want to face the truth and had already made up her mind either way. The closest thing WandaVision had to a villain was Agatha, and the closest thing Loki had to one was Silvie, but Loki in general has done the best job at portraying everyone as characters acting the most sensibly within the stories/paths given to them, you understand and give free passes to all of them, which is a first for the MCU.

  • @HypeVectorPrime

    Please read this, I think I can explain.
    Each timeline IS an entirely different universe, but there is only the one quantum realm and the one TVA.
    When you see the ring outside the castle, it is not one ring, it is an infinite number of rings all overlapping eachother. This indicates that there are an infinite number of timelines already, but none of them really vary too much from the sacred timeline. It also indicates that time does indeed repeat itself in a cycle. This also means that the multiverse war that was hinted at having already happened is the same one they are leading up to.
    What the TVA does is prevent any potential series of events from leading to another kang being born.
    The multiverse exists because on a regular timeline all potential outcomes happen simultaneously each splitting reality into a new branch. This is what causes variants, and is why going back and changing the past never effected the future.
    Think of the quantum realm as it's own timeline with it's own rules and physics. The quantum timeline is totally linear and does not split like the regular ones do. This means in the quantum realm the past can change the future, so sylvie killing he who remains means that in one of the timelines in the 31st century a kang who is destined to become kang the conqueror will eventually go far enough back in time that they can tunnel into the beginning of the quantum timeline and found the TVA. Because loki was outside of time when this happened, he was not effected, but as far as anyone at the TVA is concerned, that's just how it's always been.
    Because time is a flat circle and time quite literally works differently in the quantum realm.

    • @ThySting
      @ThySting 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I read this. Thank you so much. I didnt read the line “Time works DIFFERENTLY here” so literal. I just thought time had no affect so it was impossible to go to any different time in the TVA it was just constant but this is amazing thank you so much for taking the time to type all of that!!

    The MCU has been knocking it out of the park with these shows so far. While not on par with the best of the best movies they continue to deliver watercooler moments and highlight the lesser MCU roster. I could never have predicted that I would enjoy shows about Scarlet Witch, Vision, Falcon, Bucky, or even Loki but now i'll give anything a shot.

    Tony Stark does more in 10 minutes of movie time (Intro of the accords) than Zeemo did in the ENTIRE MOVIE. Zeemo is a B-tier villain at best until FaTWS. PERIOD.

    Time travel rules and use is NEVER clean, one of the hardest things to set rules for and never have it fail a thought experiment.
    For Greg: regarding the TVA being changed (or now in a different timeline) let's try the Bioshock Infinite method. Constants and Variables. If the TVA is outside of time, and impact of Infinity Stones or variable timelines, then it's a constant. However, with He Who Remains gone, another variant of him has taken over the establishment of the TVA at it's inception. The place remains, even Mobius and the other time agents remain, instead of different people or variations of themselves. But it's history has been rewritten. It also now begs the question, what were they doing, or thought was happening, up to the point Loki returns? And what is their goal? Good questions for Season 2.

    Sylvie should be part of RaguBagu. She murdered a ton of people, the protagonist’s final fight is to stop her, she causes the multiverse and sets off a series of terrible events because of a need for revenge.

      if you look at it a different way sylvie is the protagonist, she even says something like “this isn’t about you” to loki when she shows up

      @@doogertmcnoogert842 there’s an argument for that but I have trouble buying it given we don’t get her perspective for 2 out of the 6 episodes.

    The show writers forgot about loki's super strength and durability, he should have been able to tear apart those TVA agents, and the humans in roxxcart, and the people on lamentis, very easily.

      Could not agree more. I think his powers were neutralized inside the TVA, but outside of it, there is no excuse.

    Ok I have issues. First we're reviewing Loki and we don't mention that Ms Minutes is a blatant rip off of Twinkie The Kid.
    Second, We go down the mascot rabbit hole and no one mentions the Pirate in the McDonald's mascot line up?
    Third not one mention of Kid Loki holding up Ecto Cooler which brings Slimer in the MCU ?
    That said, loved Loki, can't wait for season 2.

    WandaVision was rated so high that it low-key screwed up the lists. Anyway great recovery on the pod because it started hella shakey

    I don't know if my proposal will garner any traction, but I propose they prune any outliers from the MCU altogether!
    No more "Vision" from Solo or any X-Men villains.
    Anyone else concur?

    Are there definitely multiple TVA's though? maybe the TVA he went back to IS the only one but it's a different version due to the effects of killing "good" Kang
    Now the TVA was formed by a conqueror version instead

  • @skyler9249

    Just a theory, but my take on the varient TVA is that "He Who Remains" wasn't entirely honest about there only being ONE timeline. My thought is that the Red Line is the furthest the timeline can branch before it connects to another Kang's timeline. He Who Remains didn't kill off an infinite number of timelines, he isolated his one timeline from the infinite others.
    This would explain why the TVA Loki winds up in isn't his original one, but a different timeline entirely.

    Thought the season 1 finale of Loki was pretty great and imo it definitely made up for how kinda slow and a little bored i felt throughout the season but overall it was enjoyable and really good. I'm excited for season 2.
