The point about uncertainty in war is sort of hard to overstate. Major questions like "can chinese ballistic missiles hit aircraft carriers" are complete unknowns. Submarine combat? Undersea automated missile launchers? Hell its not even certain what kind of approach china would take?

Does the fact that you have to go back to the LA riots, 32 years ago to make the Floyd riots seem like nothing in comparison say anything? While people do exaggerate what went on in 2020, i think theres plenty of people who downplay it as well. Seems Noah is one of the latter.

Loving the content, but seriously, your bit in UK immigration and race relations was way off, India and Pakistan are not waring in the street! And all of ex EU immigration is HK and Ukraine.

Bull and bear markets kinda seem like praying to false idols like an Indian rain dance or something seems satanic

    I enjoy the conversation.
Noah's comments about Ukraine-Germany are missing the point that Russia required Ukraine to fully commit to never joining NATO and for whatever reason Ukraine said no. I think German'y efforts to back Ukraine against its own interests is what makes Germany unserious. Germany needed that inexpensive gas from Russia to power its economy (along with the nuclear power it abandoned as Noah points out). Germany is now sputtering as right wing extremist parties rising all through Europe.
