My aunt and uncle lived in a high rise like this and my parents would take me to visit them all the time. I remember being TERRIFIED that a portal would open up underneath me lol
What about the actress who played the older sister? She was murdered by her boyfriend just 5 months after Poltergeist 1 was released, and the boyfriend spent less than 10 years in prison.
@Kenzie Editz I've been looking for this movie all my life and now I finally have found it, it's one of my earliest memories, watched it with my parents when I was 3 or 4 years old. It terrified me then, I've still not watched it since.
I like how poltergeist 3 is basically heathers last movie and she had more screen time as a grown up child since the parents were not in it and she was more scared and relax looking out for herself in poltergeist 1 she was just a baby and she hardly talk in that movie Her parents were defending her to get her back from the tv 📺
Ugh barely watching this movie in its entirety and it’s been a struggle! Too many cheap jump scares. Acting is terrible. The set up is terrible. Awful movie.
Noooo heather o rourke was the one that save this movie cause she was a great actress but the movie had a bunch of flaws that Director Gary Sherman did some things differently
I remember watching this as a kid and being terrified of being alone with elevators. 😂
Seeing this as an adult for the first time a few years ago, this is the best cinematography I've ever seen.
😐

Poltergeist 1 is the greatest ghost movie ever created, but 2 & 3, even though not nearly as good, will always have a special place in my heart.
Part 2 is good. 3 is just terrible.
Needs a retcon.
I think the first one is the worst
You obviously haven't seen that many paranormal movies.
Ghostbusters? :P
Even if the movie isn't great, the puddle effect still sticks with me.
Está foi a última cena dela ?🤔
Right it’s Creepy
"Carolann! Carolann! Carolann!" Shut up!
Today is June 30th, 2023. Heather O’Rourke would be 47 if she was still alive. Would be turning 48 in December.
Heather is a pretty name

May she rest in peace
@@danieldevito6380ya nothing fishy there
Take a shot every time Kane says carol Anne 😂
But I want to live
@ 🤣🤣🤣🤣
and i was only 5 then. how traumatizing
My gawd, I have just realized how many portals are there in my garage.
The puddle scene is amazing 👏 👏👏👏
There are some wonderful practical effects and great camera work in this movie.
Not prefect like part one but very entertaining.
2:06 they going to trick people in the pool with microphone!
It never occurs to either Scott or Diane to try to use any of the cars or a rope to pull Carol-Anne out.
It's not like using a rope was a proven tactic or anything... Oh wait
Did they have the key?
Wow didn't think your comment through did you....
Where would they get a rope from? Besides, it's not like Kane and the ghosts are going to wait for Donna and Scott to find a rope or something
I don't think they had time
The laughing is what gets me
This is the best scary movie ever, in my opinion
it is ultra terrifying. i concur.
@@whoisredsean it is, but I think so because of the mirror cinematography

Yeah When they show up in mirrors it is creepy
This isn't even the best from the poltergeist trilogy. Poltergeist 1 is the best ghost movie ever created.
Okay. Now my child's problem 'bout remembering the girl with red piyama but dont know the fim name yet is over.

I just love the movie making techniques of this decade. Too bad I was just two years old when this came out haha.
Carolyn is my grandmoms name!!! While they chanting it 😅
They can find her in Chicago but they can't find the light.
R.I.P. Heather. Too bad she was so sick. She was very pretty and too young
I heard that the little girl was battling health issues while filming.
And she unfortunately died before the movie was released
How sad
I remember this movie!!!!
Those soda cans are fake they’re stuck together
True
How did the ghosts return in No. 2 the spear finished them off and the girl was saved by angel.
Theyre heeeeeere!!!!!!!!!
Poltergeist chapters one plus two are definitely the Greatest within the Trilogy
Not the best ...but i respect Poltergeist III becouse of Heather O Rouke ❤
There's a special place in my heart for all 3 Poltergeist movies. However, the first one will ALWAYS reign supreme.
Hi.❤😂😢😅🎉 0:22
No she would be 40 years old today
Ça mort est très bizarre
Carolyn is my motherfukkin grandmoms name!!! Please stop
😢
She only almost died at thirtteen but survived
Really overall, a lazy script (how many times is "Carol Anne" said in this film? It's over 100) but the effects in this film are really top notch.
