I’m glad I found this video...pls ma I’d have loved to see an example using either neckline or shoulder dart...so to get you right..let me use neckline for example..we slash that neckline dart but not up to the apex...then to open it up (transfer the dart) we close the side dart... after successfully transferring the dart to the neckline..we then draw our two dart lines on the neckline and cut them out...we do same for waist dart and cut them out thereby forming the bodice pattern..pls I’d really love a reply to whether I’m correct or not 🥺🥺🥺
Good morning ma, am glad to come across your lectures online, may God bless you ma. Pls how can I eliminate my gapping after finished outfit? Most especially at my round neck at the shoulder area and front part?
It is really difficult after sewing ' cos it will show. But if client wouldn't mind, you will create darts to handle it. Taking care if excesses is actually introduction of darts.
Thank you so much ma'am Tola. My name is Victoria, from Enugu. I so much love this tutorial because I have been having issues with that with a particular client. She's a plus size with bust 47, waist 45. She prefers her front half Length to come below her navel at 19/20 inches with a back length of 16/17 inches. I usually experience this gaping issue not only on the front armhole but also the back armhole. Usually after sewing for her, the sleeves won't fit into the armhole and end up introducing darts even to the back armhole. This sometimes makes the back puff out. What can I do please?
Yes, I do understand the issues,. Redraft her bodice and when doing the armhole, use bust divided by 6 plus ¾" inches instead of 1.5" inches. If not understanding, chat me up on Whatsapp. Thanks
You simply slash and lap over the region. Watch the video again then register for paid classes. When slashing, let it get to the bust point. Then lapping, you have to open and make the bust dart wider

How do you avoid gapping on the neck region without putting dart
You simply slash and lap over the region. Watch the video again then register for paid classes.
When slashing, let it get to the bust point. Then lapping, you have to open and make the bust dart wider
