  • Start these age defying exercises now! While you may be doing far more, these are good tests of your function - balance, integration, firing some lesser-tested muscles that support knee and lower back safety.
    If osteoporosis is a concern or you've been diagnosed, kyphosis- that severe upper back rounding - or simply posture should also be on your radar.
    00:00 These exercises are shown:
    01:35 Single leg squat
    02:30 Side Planks with leg lift
    03:16 External rotation (shoulder)
    04:47 Back extension
    06:02 Pull ups (it's never too late!)

    Wow. The only one I’ve been able to do is the one leg squat.
    But as someone else in the comment section asked, any alternatives for pull-ups?

    WOW!!!! Thanks Debra. This video is great! In fact, your touching on pull ups, is just what I have been thinking about. I would have to
    get an at home bar. Which style do you recommend? What is the difference between the position of the hand grips? BTY, nice outfit and hair.

    Which exercise can replace pull-ups? I don't have anything I can use to do pull-ups.

      A lat pull down- also a gym exercise. Or find a swing set at a park!!! Few things mimic your ability to raise your body in a pulling manner. North in g comes to mind? Do pulling exercises at the very least

      Bent over rows are common, though I prefer seated rows, but you need a gym for this.

      If you have a sturdy table you could do lying / partial pull-ups. If you can utilize the pull up bars at a local park play ground or you have a tree in your yard, you can purchase a large resistance band for banded (assisted) pull-ups. Good luck!

      You could buy an oak dowel and lay it across two chairs or buy a set of gym rings and hook them over a closed door or playground equipment

      Are you supporting yourself by reducing inflationary foods and using anti inflammatory herbs, foods or supplements? I would start there if not… and mindset… having it isn’t “you” and doesn’t have to be forever

    For the upcoming lower body video, could you address balance and how to improve that?

    • @Flipping50TV
      @Flipping50TV  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, and!! You can find a video here about how to wait between exercises- those are great for balance - “oh no! Don’t make this mistake! “

    Hello, my 2 shoulder are to injured to ever lift more than 10 pounds max, doctors order, any ideas for pulling exercices ?

    • @Flipping50TV
      @Flipping50TV  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      pushing (lifting) isn't included in any of these. Have you consulted with a physcial therapist or simply a doc? (all respect - they don't have any ... literally any exercise foundation unless you have an orthopedic surgeon advising). Bent over rows, machine or cable rows, pull ups,

      Thanks, yeah ,physiatrist, physiotherapist, osteopath etc, anything with weights in my hands no more than ten, it starts to burn, pull up are not even an option, no push up except wall, no calcification so no operation, but they get inflamed so easyly,
      Tendenitis, bursitis, etc reapering when I push to much! Will continue to lift but nothing to heavy! I I and seeing another doctor next month

    Alternative for pullups at home please...

    • @Flipping50TV
      @Flipping50TV  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Consider a swing set ! or simple apparatus that you can purchase make it very possible to do a pull up at home! It's where I am. Nothing replaces body weight exercise. If you can't - pulling exercises are alternatives. bent over row, renegade row, bent arm pullover

    I liked one of your videos and Subscribed. Then I started getting spammed by you every day! No other subscriptions were impolite enough to do that to me. I unsubscribed from the mailing list and STILL got spammed. Apparently ou figured out a way to powerlift through that filter. I Unsubscribed from your channel.
