Love it Bob, I've watched the series but I didn't hear you call out the ballast tank volume. Arkmodel, I believe send a 300ml piston tank with their single piston kit. Do you think this is sufficient and what is your thoughts on the structure of their WTC?
Hey got a question if im understanding it correctly you use a hose to pump air into the ballast tank to create positive buoyancy for going above the water, does this mean you can only go to a certain depth before unable to float it again?
Old antenna? The blue wire is an extension. It bolts to a stud in the wall so that there is no physical hole in the cylinder end cap. It's a bit kinked from being coiled up, but it's not old.
I have only just discovered that RC submarines exist.... This is nuts! The level of detail is insane. Great job!

Depending on the model and features, you could be anywhere from $2,000 and up. Parts alone exceed $1000 for entry-level boats.

How did you waterproof where the servo actuators go through the end caps?
I used standard cup seals to seal both the linkages and main shaft.
