One of my favorite DeNiro films. DeNiro gives a impeccable performance as Rupert Pupkin (aspiring comedian). I also loved Sandra Bernhard in this film. As talented as Jerry Lewis was, (having worked in the industry for 40 yrs) I've heard on more than 1 occasion how badly Lewis treated the people around him. I think The King of Comedy is a very entertaining film. Thanks for posting this.
