Mato, Please do Tarrasch vs Mieses 1920 in Goteborg, Sweden. It is the Scandinavian. My old books called it the Center Counter game. It is fascinating. I'd like to hear YOUR thoughts on this game.
Volim kada stavljate seriju nekih otvaranja...predlazem Fried liver counter attack tamo gde beli ne jede crnog lovca ( kada mu crni da sah) nego se sklanja ka kraljevom topu..nadam se da ste razumeli sta bi zeleo?
Then there is nothing defending the Knight on f6, so White can just play Qxf6. The King cannot try and run away with Kf8 either since the Black Queen is on f8.
This is the second game you bring of Tarrasch against the french defence in which he didn't play the Tarrasch variation (3.Nd2). What, they called it the Tarrasch because he never played it? ;)
. . . slow torture . . more brutal than boxing . . . thanks Mato . . you're the best in analysis the game . .
4...Qb6 and 4...Nc6 are the best moves.
Eddie you watched it yesterday, It was french defense too but played in Berlin.
This is a classic example of someone ripping open an opponent's kingside. Classic match and great instructional tool.
Drama, humor, and instruction. The best.
Great video mato! I really like these videos! Perfect!
Mato, could you go over Tarrasch vs Mieses Gothenberg 1920? It is the Scandinavian Defense.
You're even better in this, than you were before, Mato; if that was possible.
Tarrasch knew his way around the French Defence, no doubt! Von Mieses is no slouch, so to make him look this helpless takes a great deal of skill.

Actually, this is Jacques Mieses and not von Mieses. He can easily be confused with Ludwig von Mises (economist) or Richard von Mises (mathematician)!
