finally. i feel like tzeentch has been underappreciated as a faction since shadows of change. really sad for the dlc to go that way for my fav faction in the game, i hope CA does it justice later on (esp changeling campaign)
By the time you're in the true late game, Kairos is the strongest faction in the game. Grabbing the Nemesis Crown and leveling it all the way up gives all 5 turn cooldown abilities unlimited uses per turn, and 10 turn cooldowns become 4 turns. Combined with the new Cult buildings, you can realistically halt a few armies for 20 turns or so, make every city across the world have a rebellion, and buy yourself time by keeping the two strongest threats from ever attacking you. I've never, ever lost a battle with Kairos + Blue Scribes + Aekold Helbrass +~4 Cultists +~12 Lords of Change. Teleport onto enemy army to ambush ---> cast loads of free bound spells at 200% effectiveness --> summon in extra Pink Horrors and extra (summon version) Lords of Change, win. Get extra movement from winning, teleport again for another ambush battle (be sure to halt armies next to each other), win. Repeat forever. Now that Glean Magic silences and Daemons can regenerate, it's even more absurd. I'm dead serious: Kairos is the strongest late game faction.
Alright, I just tested. Sarthoreal confederation in turn 3. Turn 1: destroy army, sack the Lost Palace, march to sea (also do the unholy manifestation). Turn 2: sell war on Teclis for money (only money, no treaty!!!). Capture Dawn's light (Teclis' army is weakened and you can use Kairos to empty all their spells and ammo), loot and occupy for moar monaye Turn 3: March to border of Tor Surpindar (no tresspassing!). Give gifts to Sarthoreal. Sell Dawn's Light to Sarthoreal. Use changing of the ways to get Dawn's Light back. Sell Dawn's Light to Sarthoreal again. Give all your money to Sarthoreal in gifts. Declare war on Sarthoreal. Capture (occupy) Tor Surpindar. Sell peace in one go with non aggression, military access and Tor Surpindar. Then sell defensive alliance. That was enough for me to get all my money back and push to green for confederation. If not you could maybe give money again and sell military alliance, but I didn't need that. Sarthoreal confederated on turn 3. Teclis direly weakened. You're welcome ❤
Sarthorael follows Karios' army and gets on the field quickly thanks to his abilities. See the Kairos guide on how to do this - he really helps the early battles.
Honestly, most of the other factions can function fine without DLC, but Tzeentch really is the one who struggles most. It's a bit easier now that daemon units have a chance to revive at the end of battle, but still, the enemies you fight need that solid lineholder to counter!
@@ElvenPlotArmour Thank you for your thoughts. I am newer to TA:WH3 and it was a "huh' moment to see Skaven didn't have ratling/jezzails without dlc (correct me if I am wrong), then I try tzeentch and there is a lack of a vital unit without DLC. Either way I truly appreciate you taking time to make these vids to help.
So... What are we covering next?
Slaanesh vassalize the world?
Noctilus have a pirate cove everywhere?
Skaven have all single region provinces and an undercity everywhere else?
Skaven! Or khorne!

You're welcome, I'm glad it worked for you!
can you put timestamps in future videos? they are amazing for guides
How can you have Sarthorael and Kairos in the same army?
Sarthorael follows Karios' army and gets on the field quickly thanks to his abilities. See the Kairos guide on how to do this - he really helps the early battles.
Kinda lame I need a DLC to have a proper front line unit early :(
