Exploring Vancouver, Washington beginning at the newly developed Waterfront along the Columbia River looking towards Oregon. Then, we cut to Downtown and then make way north on Main St through Uptown.

Love our waterfront! I ride my bike around there a couple times a week.
The only complaint I have is there’s no places to shop. I think they also over saturated the winery market. There’s like half a dozen of them within a block of each other.
The next major project however is to build a public market type structure where the old Red Lion Hotel used to be.
Hoping for more retail and stuff for families when it’s all done.

I'm from there and always found it super boring. Nothing going on, no culture, no events, no cool people. Live near the waterfront in Portland now and can walk both sides of the river, cross 4 or 5 bridges and see many people and things going on. Right now they have the Rose Festival going on and I can walk there. You can't do anything like that in Vancouver. If they were smart they would add another bridge and put a walking side in the Oregon side to make it a loop. More people will show up once they get the Max running down there. I imagine you'll start getting some Portland weirdos coming down there and some people won't be happy about it, but they don't see that yet. Anyway, at least people will be able to get into Portland more quickly and go to events/shows. No one likes riding the bus.

Well I’ve lived off and on here since 2013 and you are misleading people by saying there’s no events when every summer there’s tons of events at ester short park !! 4 days of aloha.. the wine and beer festival.. lots of Saturday and Sunday markets.. and much more .. Vancouver is a nice town .. I live right downtown too I also lived at the evergreen inn 🏨 back in 2013 and had my own apartments on 4th plain …
