  • Mechanical Engineer Builds Honda Element Tiny Camper - Part 2! In this exciting continuation, Steve joins us again to showcase the latest updates to his impressive tiny camper. Steve has made significant improvements and added new features, and he's eager to share his plans for the future.
    Steve is now officially part of ReadySetElement and will be a special guest in more videos to come. In this episode, you'll see the enhancements he's made to his 2006 Honda Element EX-P AWD, reflecting his skills and passion for innovation.
    With his extensive background in car repair and engineering, including working on Rolls Royce cars and as a seaming engineer for Coca-Cola, Steve brings a wealth of knowledge to the table. His grandfather’s teachings and his experience with everything from vintage cars to off-roading doom buggies make him a fascinating addition to our team.
    Steve's tiny camper now boasts upgraded features, including new Nomadic 180 LTE 180 Degree Awnings from Overlander Vehicle Systems, enhanced LED bars and lights from OZ-USA, and more custom touches inside. He also has exciting plans for future adventures, including more camping trips and explorations.

    Great to see how he makes little changes to make stuff work a little better. Most are simple. The bug screen is a great example.

    That Fifth Element setup is really killer. Love the way it. Fits and goes in and out. Very functional and alway under improvement.

    Steve has some great stuff - glad he’s inspiring others to DIY. Only suggestion I’d have for him and anyone else doing this - go for a LifePO4 battery, biggest you can get. Between charge cycles and weight savings, you’ll be happy you spent a bit more. Get a smart shunt if you want to monitor things from an App. Renogy, Victron and Blue Sea are great OEMs for hardware in your setups.
