$200 Polaris Trail Boss 350 4x4 Saved From Crusher!

Got a call about a Polaris Trail Boss 350 4x4 that was on its way to the crusher and if I would like to buy it for $200. Given that it is mostly complete and in pretty good cosmetic condition, I jumped on the deal!

For parts sales or donor for parts looks like you did ok. I just bought a 1998 Xplorer 300 for 60 bucks, complete, cleaned the carb and it runs and rides. I am into for 200 total

I have the air cooled 300. They are actually not hard to work on and the trannies are sort of like a manual gear box on an older truck. I had to replace the shift fork and dog gear on mine. Wasn’t bad other than I’d buy parts new they are expensive.

Don't know what this particular one is worth, buy my daughter in law runs a 93 of the same exact model. Has only needed a few reasonable things. Runs like a top. And we take 50 to 80 mile trips. Some of the 2 strokes motors Polaris used to make are bullet proof almost.

One look, and I see a heavy lump. With the motor open it would have been another $50 take it or leave it. Too much potential with the stuff you've already got that can be finished with familiar parts. Some of the calls you get should be blocked. Later Harvey.
