I used to play this game a lot when I was younger but based on camera angles that is how you can tell by the difficulty.

I always thought this was the greatest baseball game of all time. The simplicity and even realism of how the controls worked. It was actually realistic how you had to really watch the pitches for strikes and balls. Lots of strategy went into the game. After this game they started added pitch meters and overlays and it was just never as good. Having to just use your eyes and "feel" the controller made it so much more realistic.

EA sports games were almost always a year behind. Triple Play 99 was released in 98. NCAA Football series was the same way.

@@ThePatriots010304 yup, this game still destroys the modern baseball games of today with over done pitch meters and overlays. Less about baseball and more about a stupid meters to watch. At the time this game was perfect.
