Same. Bought from Walmart for $299 in 9/21 with the 3yr warranty. It's been fantastic. Range after 7mi is one bar down and currently have 268mi on the Odometer. is built so solid. Not a single issue to date.
I bought the same scooter on auction for $100 and it goes 25MPH so i don’t know if they changed it since this video or if someone rigged the scooter to go faster. But I’m not complaining 😹
I got mine 6-7 months ago, for like 440+tax like the total was around 480 usd, and until today i have covered like 750 miles and its doing great, no problems at all... sometimes the quality is more important than speed.
I bought my macwheel mx pro on Amazon over a year ago, and the first one they sent me stopped working after the first time I rode it. I returned it then I put a 1 star review on Amazon complaining about how upset i was, and it ended up getting 1800 up votes. Macwheel then reached out to me and said if I removed the 1 star review then they'd send me a free one! They sent it to me and I removed the review lol. I've ridden it for over 250 miles now on the odometer. Not bad for a free scooter.
I just bought an e-twow gt se, waiting for it to arrive, the power to weight ratio is the best for e scooters. The Inokim Light is more for ladies, slower and no suspension.
These Xiaomi m356-clones are rarely great buys in my opinion. I think my pro 2 (around $400 when I bought it) and trimmed to do around 20mph is much better. Great hill-climbing as well for being a single motor scooter.
I got lucky and bought bike for $340 with a $60 off discount on Amazon when they were selling them there. Can't seem to find them on there now and they've doubled in price? Crazy. They are worth it for the price I paid, but not 700.
I’ve owned this scooter for a year and I love it. I’m 225lbs and I’ve gone about 18 miles max range. This thing is a tank lol honestly until now I didn’t know it had electronic braking.. how do you activate it? I thought it was just disc brakes..
I purchased this and was okay but had to upgrade to a Kaboo Mantis 8 because the Macwheel can't handle the hills of San Francisco. It's a good starter scooter for folks who live in areas that doesn't have steep hills.
Why did you try the hill on max speed? Set it to setting 2 and you'll get up that hill no problem. Also you seemed to skip over the fact you can lock down your scooter from the motor/wheel moving within the app. A good feature to help deter someone from taking it as it won't roll.
Dude, just get the Hiboy S2. It's got the same specs, but has rear suspension, and regen braking. The S2 Pro is a slightly better option, but it's gotten pricey
Feels like a total ripoff tbh. About 2 years back I got the Hover 1 Pioneer on sale at Walmart for $250, I think its regular price was $300. It seems to be an exact copy of this scooter, except for the brake lever being on the right side, and the little screen being slightly different. Also, no app support It claims to have a 300w motor, but the motor controller inside says 350w. Also, it claims a max speed of 15mph, and even though the screen only goes up to 15, it actually reaches close to 20mph. It also came with 8.5 inch pneumatic tires, which I was able to upgrade to 10 inch tires. The battery is smaller, it's a 36v 6Ah battery and I got about 10 miles of range when it was new. Also, it does have cruise control, but it is much much better. You get up to your desired speed, and then you double-tap the throttle and it beeps at you to let you know it is activated. I love it because it only activates when you want it to, I really wish my Varla had C.C setup like that. It was a bit slow but I did use it to commute a bit and it worked great for that. For the 2 years I used it I had no issues whatsoever, not even a flat tire, and I only had to adjust the stem once. The battery did fail towards the end, but I was able to replace the bad cells for like $20, not ideal, but it works well. The Hover 1 Pioneer seems to be discontinued and replaced by the Hover 1 Journey, which is listed at $349 on their website.
Bought the mx1 and the mx pro. Great scooters BUT the battery goes in a little over 1 year of use. Then you have a useless scooter that Macwheel does not sell replacement parts for. Hard to believe? Try searching the web for a replacement part such as a battery. I’m spreading this word as it was quite disappointing for me.
Not sure itll help but i read on reddit that the macwheel rebranded to the xiaomi m365 pro, I know when replacing the brake pads this was the case and was able to buy a few sets of pads, whether the batteries are the same or not, not sure I'm guessing the connectors may tell you that but maybe worth checking out. I just passed my one year mark and my battery is still like it was out of the box so yet to have a battery issue, however I am upgrading soon as the rattling from the slightest bumps is driving me nuts. Even sidewalks are the most annoying thing to ride on but so far has done what I need it to. Hopefully the battery thing helps
Hey rk9 rides can you talk about how trash delivery from varla is? I ordered 2 pegasus models on November 11th that never showed up, and varla is siding with FedEx that my order was delivered. I've now had to file a police report since varla has given up on helping me find my order.
El mío también no corre ya lo llevé donde el técnico y no se arregla dice que es la caja de poder a lado de la batería o el panel eléctrico comando /( pero no los encuentro
Big news! The first ever line of RK9 Rides apparel and merch is out!

Everyone is raving about the e-twow GT and Inokim light 2. I'd love to see you review those.

Yeah. i have one of those which is pretty good aside from the non existing suspension. Has solid wheels goes 19 mph
Aovopro ES something.

Yeah, not sure why the dramatic price increase happened

one lucky thing about living in florida, there are no hills since this is the flattest state so even entry level scooters feel quite zippy
I got mine for $150 (used) so I can’t complain
This was my first scooter about 6 or7 months ago. It was $300 at Walmart. Had to get something else for some speed. Lol
Great video, I really enjoy watching! If this scooter was $400 dollars, would it be a good option?
Yes. But be prepared to replace the rear fender. I got mine for $360, totally worth it and I've even used mine in the rain.
Dude, just get the Hiboy S2. It's got the same specs, but has rear suspension, and regen braking. The S2 Pro is a slightly better option, but it's gotten pricey
Yeah I think that if it was under $500 it would be a decent buy
Yes, I paid less than 400 for mine brand new over a year and a half ago and I am super happy with it for that price.
Found one brand new in the box for $140. I would never pay the retail price. Overall its an okay scooter but the tires are the worst part.
Thank you for that hill review!! it wouldn’t make it for the hills I need to climb
Should I buy this scooter I found it for $200 naighbor is selling it anything I should look out for
