Traxxas TRX4 Landrover Defender 3s

- This is my second run with the TRX4 since owning this RC. I haven't used it as much as I'd like because of working and filming other videos for you guys. Here we are, finally some more footage of the Landrover defender navigating some rocky, muddy and wet terrain at my local quarry. How awesome does it looks guys!? This truck offers a really unique side to the hobby, it allows you to take a step back and slow down from the usual awesome crazy bash videos.
I ran one battery in this video which gave me 40 minutes of run time, the battery is a 4000mah 3s. Awesome return for an hour charge at home.

The trucks great but I'd like to see someone make a pickup of it. That big box section in the back makes it roll I think. But idk
.....i think it's the wheel base and how close they are together. the top part is just plastic body. There are wheele spacers available to widen the stance.

My birthday is coming soon, like a month, but I’m wanting a Traxxas vehicle, me being a Land Rover guy loves this I want to know, should I buy this or the slash 4x4 1/16 for a first, and are both completely waterproof, cause it looks like the defender is completely waterproof but I haven’t looked at the slash 4x4 so I’m not sure what I should try to get
Is the truck still stock ? Just got my Bronco but a bit worried about water killing the electronics...

The RC Fixup For sure. We have a Thunder Tiger Mt4 and an HPI Trophy truggy on 4s. The new Senton makes the three an awesome time out bashing. Only been through two charges on the senton but it's great. Awesome handling that makes the truggy feel sluggish as all hell now!

That's cool and all but, I hope none of my trx-4's get that loud. Maybe some grease in the gearbox would help.

Is that water proof from the box?
It is fun unless you don't go out doors much. No sitting laying video games all day but actually a daily walker in the outdoors.
Should Park this TRX on a road and hit it full speed with an XMaxx or an ARMA. Yeah, I’m not into crawling, crawling 😂
