- Visible updated and increased the features of its premium Visible+ smartphone plan, while keeping the same base price of $45.
The primary benefit of the new version for those traveling in RVs, vans, and boats is a doubled mobile hotspot speed cap of 10 Mbps.
The new Visible+ also includes more features for international use and includes a free smartwatch line.
Customers on the existing Visible+ plan terms can keep their current terms or switch to the new "2.0" version.

I was already paying the full $45/month on the former plus plan so I jumped on this offer. The 10Mbps hotspot is much more usable than the 5Mbps.
It’s definitely a no-brainer for those already for those already paying $45. Some nice upgrades!
I have the basic plan for $25mo. I have been looking at upgrading to the + plan when I drive to Canada 🇨🇦 later in Fall because Canada to US calling is included. Nice to see the data upgrade.

Nah. I'll keep my $35 plan. If I'm forced to upgrade at some point I'll go to the basic plan.
I'm currently on the $35 visible plus plan and would expect to be upgraded to this new plan without any additional costs. If that's not the case, I'm actually thinking about going back to the $25 plan or going to US Mobile.
At present time, Visible is not upgrading existing customers and switching drops most promotional rates.

$45 a month? did it go up I still pay 35 for plus. and would be 25 for basic.
The $35/month you pay now is with a promotional discount. The base price of the plan is $45/month. The new upgraded version of the plan does not have any promotional discounts (at least not yet), and existing ones don't transfer.
Can I use this plan in a hot spot, and if so, do I have to buy it from Verizon/Visible?
No, it’s a smartphone-only plan that can only be used in certain smartphones and not any other devices.
Does the new Visible + (2.0) support Apple Watch Family Sharing (separate phone number for the watch) so that, for example, a kid could have a watch (with cellular) with a separate phone number? Visible’s website doesn’t make this clear.
That would be a great question to pose to Visible - that's not the sort of information we track.
if have the 35 dollar option, does it automatically upgrade to the new benefits that is in the video? or is it the old plan im currently on.
You have to upgrade - and you will lose your promo pricing.

I have the Visible+ 1.0 plan at the $35 promotion. I'm curious, I watch videos at above 480p all the time on this plan (currently watching this video at 1080p by default) Definitely not switching if I have to stream everything at 480p going forward
Visible has always been speeds to support 480p on all their plans. Some streaming services however have maximized video compression to deliver higher resolution.
V1 has always offered 4K streaming and still does for UW. V2 is throttled down to 480p on UW.
Verizon Prepaid Unlimited Plus is still offered with 4K UW. It also has 5G Standalone available (for when it’s launched), as does Postpaid Unlimited Plus & Ultimate.
I just they would automatically upgrade all current Visible+ plan holders and rollover promotional pricing. This is annoying. They should also be more upfront about the fact that the features are automatic for current plan holders. It's currently not worth the upgrade for me. I'll keep my $35 per month pricing.
I got an email saying i already have visible plus & my rate won't change by upgrading 🤔 I'm on the $35 special they ran a couple months back so if i take the upgrade i pay more is what your saying?
We have multiple reports of folks with the special promo rate being prompted at time of change that they'll lose the $10 discount - including our own Welcome Discount on our account. If you find differently, definitely let us know.
Yes. You will lose any promos if you upgrade from Visible+ to Visible+ 2.0

No - this is a smartphone plan.

I got switched to the new Visible+ for $35. I still have not seen any other service that I can use unlimited hotspot data.
For a smartphone plan at least.. yes, that's true. There are unlimited data plans for hotspot devices and routers (5G home internet plans, business internet, non-profit plans, first responder, etc.) Here's our top picks: www.rvmobileinternet.com/planpicks

@@MobileInternetResourceCenter whatever, I get over 100mbps, stream in 1080p even through the phone hotspot and I only pay $35. There is nothing else that compares in this area. Being on a phone also makes it easier to carry around too.
2gb per DAY? So it'll let you load a couple websites?
2GB is quite a bit of data - about same as a full length movie at HD. Many of us nomads used to get by on 20GB a month.
@@MobileInternetResourceCenterI have 150gb in my plan and usually come in just under it. Bell plan, works in CAN, US and MX. Been snowbirding with it all winter, been great - roams.
