Absolutely stunning! Beautiful place Nick. Those Glide rods and pins are an excellent combo. I can’t wait to try those new floats out. As for the setup itself, the olivettes will be a godsend and I love using those quick change swivels when float fishing as it adds weight to the hook link without the need for a dropper shot. Great video Nick and Korum!
I'm off on a caravan holiday in a few weeks to Southview Holiday Park in Skegness. Which is predominantly full of carp, but also dog Roach. Purely down to your video, I've just ordered all the same terminal tackle to help me fish bread flake on the lift method whilst feeding mashed bread and hemp!
Why do they call them quills, when they are not the real quill floats? I use an old quill for fishing tench and other silver fish, but they are not shaped the way yours are?
As @normannorris say's, Why call them quill floats? this is miss leading and miss selling. Quill floats are made of peacock quill, crow quill, turkey quill, porcupine quill and goose quills, and not balsa wood.
@@MRT.1977 They are advertised as "Glide Pro Quill Floats" it does not say "quill style", that makes it miss leading. I also make my own quill floats, and the do not look anything like a quill.
I'm a Daiwa tart, but I have just ordered both the glide rod and centrepin, and quill floats for our upcoming holiday to Southview Holiday Park in Skegness. Carp every bung, but I'll be fishing for the pound plus Roach I found last year. On the lift method and bread flake!

Then only thing that would make this better, is using a proper cane rod with that centrepin! My kind of fishing. Tight lines.
Proper old school 👌👌 Like it mate 👍👍👍

So not actually a quill float then, just a balsa float shaped to look like a quill?

They are a quill style. Everyone knows what real quill floats are made from. I actually make my own.
