    Surely the obvious application here is so we can all freehand a minigun like Arnie.
    Seriously though, be interested to know max lift weight, couldn’t find any online specs, going to guess it wouldn’t be able to lift a boiler / water heater.

      You had the same idea when I saw this today... And yes, it helps a lot for that too because it prevents the "kick" or recoil of a gun.

    This similar to camera rig backpacks but modified to take a heavier load with additional electronics to help stabilize the load. I can it with multiple battery packs so you can just keep on going or recharge during the breaks or overnight.

    If I were in the business of holding up breakers and large drills often I could see owning this.
    Excellent concept. I think a low battery indicator would be real important so you could power down for it to lower?

    • @TheJohn8765
      @TheJohn8765 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yah, low battery indicators would be essential, if only for productivity and efficiency uses. I'd want to know if I need a new battery long before it just cuts out.

    • @ConcordCarpenter
      @ConcordCarpenter  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Great point! When the battery dies you can tell by a noise and it will auto- lower the tool At a slow, controlled speed

    That's a very good idea. Like you said, applications like hoisting clumsy weights such as tankless heaters would also be a good use. Have they released the max weight loads?

    How heavy is the unit itself? Can you get a 8 hour day out of a different battery combo. Work in the rail industry and I have a perfect application for this. Guys are in remote areas where it can be difficult to charge or keep extra batteries.

    I work camera in the film industry and there is similar products that are expensive that aren’t even electronic! Easy rig and flycam don’t have this type of capabilities, and cost the same amount, if not, more!

      I came from concrete cutting to filmmaking and when I learned about Easyrigs, I was really tempted to get my boss to buy one to use in this application with hand sawing walls with a 16” concrete handsaw. My back would probably be in a lot better shape if I’d had this 😂

    An option to have this mounted on a sliding overhead beam would be great. Why carry all the weight on your legs if you are breaking in one area for extended periods.

    ok , so for the film making industry it looks similar to an easy rig. It would be interesting to see how it could be used for film makers. and at that price it also is not bad at all.

      Not bad, wh easier than holding regular . When batt. Dies, the motor stops (you can hear it)) and the tool is lowered slowly.

    costs way less than a shoulder surgery. even a 5lb tool gets exhausting if held up all day. my workplace uses a Graco plural component sprayer to apply thick coatings, just the tip of the spray gun is more expensive than this tool balancer setup. the spray gun is heavy the feed hoses are heavy the heated jacket for the feed hoses is heavy, the PPE the operator wears is heavy, it's an exhausting job position that wrecks shoulders. I'm definitely interested!

    $2k is too much for this. You could use $1k and hire a young helper to knock jobs out. If he gets good enough you go and get him a truck and a helper and drum up more work and that cycle continues lol. You could start to build an empire for less than this gimmick would cost you.

      @@jayquick6520 as some one that does this everyday as a concrete cutter this is great 2k is expensive but the pain from a 50+ hour week of running a hydraulic saw or jackhammer wears you out.
