Been using this for over a year now,
It’s still a great headphone in my opinion listening to music, playing games, chilling is just good. The music is good with the bass a little boosted but not overly boosted. The only problem is that I noticed my mic starts to make a high pitched noise whenever I talk but it’s not too loud but it’s noticeable. The mic is still good my voice sound clear and also rust started to form on the headphone metal parts so that’s a downside

Right I've been using this headset for about 3 months?
Great headset but there are a few problems :
- A bit big, too big for my head, it makes me look a little silly :\
- The RGB lighting system is a bit loud, and so if you pause any audio and just listen you'll notice a whirring noise in your left ear, which is probably where the RGB controller might be located, I think it's why I occasionally get a pain in my left ear,
- No way to disable the noise cancelling, as it's probably a physical thing (then again this is the first time I've ever used noise cancelling hardware)
- The sensitivity isn't high enough by default so audio can be faint, I've had to install a third party Equalizer and add a Preamp of about 9 decibels gain (but hey at least I'm learning some audio engineering stuff from this, which is good because I'm currently pursuing music)
Aside from that, audio quality is fantastic, mic quality is fantastic, I like the fact that it has a mic toggle, and a volume adjuster, these are great for voice calls if you don't live alone,
For ps5 comfortable ?
After watching your video on this headset I decided that I have enough proof that this is a great quality budget headset and now thanks to your video I think I will be buying this product.

Irritating when y’all make reviews and forget to mention a major flaw. YOU CANT USE THE USB AND MIC JACK AT THE SAME TIME!
Did you try plugging them both in at the same time
How do you use the lights & the headphones at the same time tho? Can you only use one or the other? The cord is too short and too close to the headphone jack to use both at the same time. Or am I just slow??

haha. I can understand what you're going through. I still have difficulty choosing when it comes to Onikuma. I get caught between performance or comfort when trying to choose.
I haven't used all of their headsets , just a few( check my playlists) but from the ones I have used so far , when it comes to sound quality, I'll say take the K9 or the K20. The X11 is very popular with female gamers ( I don't know why) but it's not a bad choice either . But if I was in your shoes, I'll opt for the K9 or K20 ( keep in mind, my choice is based on products I have used ).

I actually had the k20 before and whilst it had excellent quality sound it was lacking in bass... But comfort and mic was 9/10. I'm just hoping the K9 has better formed bass vs the k20. What's your opinion?
Or would you recommend any other headset perhaps (not Onikuma) below R600? How about the Reddragon Pandora?
Oh yeah . The K9 has better bass than the K20. I wouldn't say it's the deepest bass out there for a budget headset , but definitely deeper than the K20. I'm not a bass head so I'm not usually fond of the kind of bass that overshadows every other sound even if they make for really great FPS gaming.
Back to your question. Yes , the K9 has better bass than the K20.
I could recommend others with great bsss also but they are above the R600 budget .

K8 or k20 which is more better?
I think it's not about which is better but your preference. They both work excellently but in my opinion, the K8 has a better sounding speaker (not by far though) and the K20 has a better microphone(and also not by far). The K8 seems more comfortable to me but I also prefer the design of the K20 over the K8. This is why I say it's a thing of preference . My opinion.
According to your experience, it is better, K8 or K5, regardless of the price

In my opinion, these two brands make very good budget headsets . From the choices you gave, in my opinion, I would say the K8 and the Ares, but look through my playlists, I'm sure you will find something you might like more.
@@TECHONABUDGET007 I was going for the Ares because I heard from a lot of people that the sound of onikuma headsets is muffled and lack a lot in terms of bass and mids and doesn't even has a high tone.
But in terms of comfort the Onikuma wins

They are both very good headset for budget prices. In my experience , there was NO sound muffling when I tested the K8 . It was very clear to me. I can't disprove other people's experiences.
This is what I think . If price is a thing for you , go for the Ares since you mentioned it was cheaper in your country. If it isn't a problem , then I still say go for the K8. That is my opinion.

the USB connector is ONLY for the LED lights. connect the USB connector and the LED will come on .
u gotta connect both of the usb cables
Can I use the without the adapter?
Yes, you can but it will depend on what device you are using it on. If the device uses one audio interface for both voice and audio( for example the x-box controller or a phone), then it's cool but if the device uses separate interfaces for audio and voice ( for example some laptops and desktops ), then you will definitely need the audio adapter.
