I get what you’re saying about a Prismatic crash, but I mean it did “crash” as in I was buying etbs for like $30. Everything will rise over time. If they can print past demand we could see cheap prices and the scalpers flee.
Yeah I was going into Sam’s club every couple weeks and buying Crown Zenith to rip for cheap, target always had the tins in stock as well. I think you’ll see prismatic restocks over the next year and a half, like we do every set. Really comes down to if the resellers can make a profit or not, once that’s over you’ll see it back to normal.
The reason behind the price hike of early s&v sets is that new people have entered the hobby (especially kids with their parents). They probably have found the newer sets expensive and not so forgiving (pull rate-wise) so their attention has turned to the earlier sets. These people aren't collectors, they just need product to open. Paldea Evolved and Scarlet&Violet base set are great sets for that exact purpose (both sets have great artwork and many Illustration Rares!). Obsidian Flames is also a great alternative (booster packs are still rather inexpensive) and let's not forget everybody loves Charizard! (4 Charizards in the set, plus a couple of promos!)
Picked up 5 paldea evolved boxes on Amazon at the start of the week, £125 each but 2 are damaged and the other 3 don’t have tight/clean seals, still happy with them for the money paid but not sure on the long term hold because of the condition
Obsidian Flames is awful. Only 7 cards valued higher than $10. Then you take a look at the so-called horrible set which everyone say to AVOID Shrouded Fable which has 20+ cards selling over $10! Makes 0 sense to me
almost like people like the Charizard cards more than some weird ass Pokémon in Shrouded. Crazy to think the hobby is sustained by collectors who like certain cards (that was sarcasm)
On the PC site they state that PC Etbs will get a restock later in the Year. I obviously agree that the price will not be affected but it gives people a last chance to get some if you dont want to pay over x3 the MSRP of them👍
@PokeJace Preorders that were placed during the preorder time frame will begin shipping in mid-January. More inventory of this product will become available later this year. 👍🫡

Yeah I don't understand about Obsidian but booster box proving to be kept sealed
Obsidian has a popular charizard chase. That's enough to push the price of a set up. Seen it happen with plenty of sets in the past

Zard with low gem rate is what's dragging its value. Thankfully I pulled one in a PSA 10 😅
@@DB_________yes. And we should pull charizards already in slabs 😉
Talking about crown zenith being hard to get ahold of, i found the 4 pack tins in tesco last week 😂
What do you think is the better buy rn, paldea evolved or temporal forces?

That's good!

👍🫡
watch history repeat itself because there's just not enough product for the demand.. I doubt you'll find it easier the second time around
Wonder what the long term value in sealed really will be overtime, I mean literally everyone collects sealed now lol.
Trainer toolkit 2022 on pokemon center includes evolving skies booster pack . Must be worth it just for the pack value
Love the channel and content jace. Keep it up mate 😁
151 jpn will melt faces this year❤
When you sell your items for profit do you pay tax?
Yeah kinda sucks but oh well 🤷
@PokeJace Do you just register with HMRC?
Jace has had a fresh trim 🤘👌
Charizard sells its a buy
